I've never understood this criticism, its the fairly logical point to make a change more often than not.

Not a criticism, just a point that used to get argued pointlessly a few years back.

Call it an in joke!

If anyone deserved a bit of luck - it's Greenacre.

The criticism was usually related to matches where a change was needed earlier, but never came.

The running joke came from the monotonous regularity with which Ricki made his first sub at exactly 65 mins, whatever the situation. 4-0 up, or 0-4 down, it wouldn't matter.

I remember - hence the frustration as I never understood it! Glad it was just that - would hate for it to come back, as argued pointlessly was certainly right!

If he was playing for us he would have found a way to hammer that cross into the first defender - like he always did.

+1 Only because they can't see how crap we really are at the game.
N.B I'm a season pass holder and would be at the game if I wasn't visiting family.

I thought hearfield was pretty awful for the Phoenix, so it's pretty annoying that he finally has a good game against us.

Great to see that the Work for the Dole scheme in Australia has funded the trip to NZ for those 3 Mariners fans...

He was awful because he was an attacking(ish) midfielder playing at right back

Unfortunatley a lot of players have picked today to have their worst games of the season so far.
