I agree, I think he shows patches of class- start of last season I think, but does fall off. But he has pace. Not sure whether he is more of a winger or a striker, but think he will be one of the first to realise he aint gonna be getting game time

I'm not sure about Tim Payne. If you were going to go for a really young guy, I think Carmichael is the much better long term prospect. Just going on u17 games, but he was creative and seemed most naturally confident.

That was from twitter- from a Hungarian source which seemed reliable, but did state that it was speculation rather than him guarnteed to be coming down.

Has the length of time we've been trialling players unusual? I can understand the period it took before we signed Sanchez, due to his injury, but Thurtell and Bran (has he gone?) seem to have been trialling a while. Or is it normal for a trial to go for so long without a player either getting signed or getting the flick?

i think the nix often have guys train with them- which can be classed as a trial. I think someone like thurtell hasnt got anywhere else better to be, so why not train with a pro club and try and impress.

Bran hasnt been around much iirc, hes been popping back to melbourne. I think the club have told him they know what he will bring, and they are just considering their options so he was free to go back home.

Anyway, did we have any theories on this 'ivorian' striker??
