Bugger all goals scored in his career and he is short, if we wanted a striker that doesn't score a lot then Mehmet could have been a better bet until Smeltz teed up his move to the Glory.

Yeah the era of players that he went through with at Liverpool was duing a big period of problems between academy director Steve Heighway and Rafa.  When Rafa arrived the academy was in a terrible state - there was a bit of a power struggle.  Early after he arrived a load of young europeans were signed and brought in to replace the current crop of reserve players that Benitez didn't think were good enough.  It was pretty scattergun stuff, Nemeth was one of those.  That group really struggled and unfortunately most of them have left the club, along with Heighway, once Benitez got hold of the academy.  He broguht in a load of the Barca coaches, Rudolfo Barello being one of them, and these guys all got cut.
 
So I wouldn't put to much store in him being at Liverpool.  Doesn't mean he isn't decent though, he has played a number of games in the Greek League.

There was a lot of talk about this guy couple of years ago, he had a very good U20 World Cup in Egypt in 2009, with Hungary making the semis if I recall correctly.

Seems to have had a few injuries for someone who still pretty young.
