Well the age limit is 20 and he is 21. Would stand to reason (can't see how) that Griffiths is not signed as a youth player..... Jeff Vader2011-10-02 20:34:12

Quick striker - has done alright at a NZFC level, has moved to Welly if i remember correctly so is there and has more potential than Lovemore.

Be quite happy to see this.

He was on the bench for Macenvale vs. Wests when they played at Endeavour, he never got on the pitch though

Must have been something like that, he didnt look injured, had a good kick around at half time and was warming up throughout. Was definitely him.

Is there any foundation behind this Dakota Lucas speculation?

Yeah the signing of Ward for me spells out Chettleburgh's chances. Which will suck for him as he has put in the hard work this preseason with the boys.

So are these images relevant to player speculation or not?

Petrovski not prolific?

He was the Jets highest scorer last season, and they mostly used him off the bench.

Possibly too old now though ...

Who scores goals - 41 in 124 A-League appearances, to be precise, or a goal every three games for the less mathematically inclined.

If you don't that's prolific, Mr Cross, methinks you've been supporting the Tractor Boys for too long!! Last time they had a good striker on their books, they had three of them - Alan Brazil, Eric Gates and Paul Mariner - at the same time ... a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away ...

While Mr Petrovski may come across as an annoying bugger, he's got one habit which is annoying to opposing defences and fans only - he scores goals. And in a league as traditionally tight as this one, that attribute  can be worth anywhere up to twelve points over the course of a campaign.

Cheers,

Hmm...You two working in colluasion.... or did one lead to the other??

"LUA" in Portuguese translates as "Moon"     so perhaps   Lualua    =   Moons
according to SB's cryptic clue.

One of the LuaLua brothers from the Wiki link posted above by Mr Incredible?

Saw Nicky Ward in town today and all signs pointed towards him living in Wellington! Rather exciting.

Still happy with this result. Wonder if the club will make an official release on their site? Im guessing that the striker signing can now be a bit delayed if we can just get one more yoof in.

But with Wardy in, I'd say thats the end of CBerg's chances, so wonder where we will be looking?
Payne is my hope

a timing belt?
What does it mean???

With three potential strikers, and multiple people giving visual clues, it makes it a little bit hard to know if they are all to do with one player, or for lots of different players, or random images

Anyone got the latest on the three European strikers situation. Would be good to get one signed in the next couple of days.
