Does anyone have a map of the RoF with the SEAT numbers on it? I know what aisle I want to be in but can't remember what the seat numbers were I was sitting in last time. And I want to get a season pass for that seat(or in similar vicinity).

I thought I was the only person amazed that there doesn't seem to be a seat map of the stadium anywhere... not even on the stadium website!

Go see a Ticketek agent, they have the seat numbers on their screen for you to look at.

considering a kids season pass at bolton wanderers cost 49 pounds (20 games, in the English prem league) which is about equivelent to NZ$150 (havn't seen exchange rate), does anyone else think that kids prices going up to 110 is unjustified (sure you get one extra game) i mean what harm was being caused keeping it low, by making kids prices you you are surly encouraging parents to buy a season pass for themselves and buy 5 for the kids at the same time.

I think Kids price increase is unjustified and just plain stupid.

Who would you rather your kids watched? Bolton or the Nix, and besides the Nix are still $40 cheaper! Plus its cheaper than anything else on offer ie the rugby.

Queenslander 3x a year.

The prices are pretty reasonable. The family packages are generally affordable, I think.

My grandson, having been to the Raebok and to the Ring last year, would prefer to watch the Phoenix every time. (However, he prefers Elland Rd which he says "rocks", "cos there's more people".)

But to the thread: -- not bad prices - I'd expected a steeper price increase this year.

Thanks for posting the map. Maybe I'm being really picky, but I would have loved to have seen a more detailed map showing seat numbers on the stadium website, so you could see just how far back or to the side of the tunnel seat xxx on row y would be. In fact, the technology these days should allow us to book our seats on such a map online -- we can do it booking flights, why not seats the stadium?

good lad. recognises good support when he sees it....

Anyway, we renewed 15 gold memberships last week. Let's see if they can actually get them to us before the start of the season this year...

From memory the rows start at the middle (the entrance from the concourse) and they go A,B,C etc upwards and AA,BB,CC, going downwards. Therefore Z will be up the top, and MM will be near the ground. Actually, now that I look a bit closer it does kind of indicate that on the map. I've never been able to work out how the seat numbers work though.

Can anybody answer this question for me?

Can you get into the family zone as a YF zone season ticket holder? Reason being i will sometimes bring my kids and would rather they didnt have to meet any of you.

No you cant, but if you do bring your family this year there is a zone where you can buy them GA tickets and go and sit with them. Better still sign them up as members and sit with them in the family zone

Tony, can we expect people checking tickets on every aisle entrance this year ?

That was my initial thought as well, but I thought we should clarify it for people anyway.

yea fair call! what i noticed last year was when they started putting 2 people on the entrances to 21/22 there were less people or nearly none at the turnstiles so you could see people getting in pretending they were one fat person so people were getting 3 people in for the price of one. was amusing but cant see the clubs finaces being amused.

They will this year as FFA have done a full security review at every venue  and all stadia will be expected to meet the increase level of security. We will be working with Westpac Stadium to ensure these standards are met as we will be liable.

i might go get a job as a security guard at the stadium then and try get allocated to that side where no one sits, that way i don't only get into the game for free but i get paid to watch

Sorry if ive got this wrong but...

Lame

So if i want to sit with others in an empty part of the stadium i wont be allowed?

Security being harsh and cchecking tickets everytime you get to an aisle only serves to piss people off when there are 20,000 spare seats

There will be an area where members can buy tickets for friends/family and be able to sit with them. This area is GA and will in Bay 32.

Why so strict?

Seems silly...
Will they seriously be kicking people out of seats even though there are 1000s spare around them?

People dont often bother with having to coordinate buying tickets together, because of the fact there are always so many spare seats around. What happens is they get tickets themselves (in different aisles...because...they bought them seperately to each other) then just meet up wherever, sit and watch the game.

Can just see people being annoyed and put off that is all...

Mainly because other clubs have problems controlling fan behaviour.

I suspect aisle's will be policed, but unless someone complains, seats should be pretty felxible.  Just remember the Fever Zone policy that is 'if someone has the ticket for seat you are in, and they want to use it, find somewhere else'.

Yep thats the way it should be

Just concerened that having them on every aisle...may cause the security to go more hard line on this than they really need to.

Theres a difference between looking to the FFA like we're enforcing it,and actually doing so?

EDIT: Just re-read...and i honestly think even aisles being policed is over the top, because of the reasons i said in my previous post...am really hoping common sense prevailsTegal2008-06-19 14:39:39

this might also stuff up the option of the half-time commute (for those of us who once sang so proudly "we are the 39!!")

personally, I blame George Bush (and his advisors) for this particular piece of social control

sure if someone's got a ticket then they get the seat and  people must respect that - but occupying an empty seat (among thousands of others) in a stadium is hardly a threat to national security and the American FFA way

if there are too many people in a row for the number of available seats then that might be a  safety issue but that could be dealt with on a case by case basis - surely

no doubt this plea for a questioning of the increasingly frequent terror-driven world view and a bit of Kiwi common-sense and freedom will fall on deaf beaureaucratic ears

but, at least,  let's remember a time when we weren't all (encouraged to be) so frightened of each other

How many member were there last season? I see that 1176 members have renewed their membership already and membership goes on sale on to the public on the 23rd

I can't say I'm so enthusiastic about getting a season ticket then.
None of my mates want to get on. That said, I usually bring along different groups of friends each time, who I'd want to sit with.
I might be able to fit one or two next to a reserved seat in the YF zone, but if I bring more people then I wouldn't be able to sit next to them if I have a season ticket?
If I'm bringing anything from none to six other people it might be better to just buy tickets together before the game, cos it's the only way you can guarantee to sit together.

Last year it wasn't a problem cos we could just sit near the YF zone; as nobody was checking tickets at the aisles you just had to find a space.

So it all depends on how strict the ticket checkers will be.
How strict is that?
Is it still worth getting a season pass?

Reading between the lines, I got the impression that you could sit in your allocated seat in the YF zone with your seaso, this also let you sit in the GA area, if you had a lot of people coming for one match and you wanted to sit together
