2nd half we were definately the second best team apart from the usual finishing spurt.
We weren't awful, but FFS surely our aspiration is better than that. If people aren't at least a bit frustrated that we could not beat the second to bottom team with six players unavailable to them, including captain and one of their star attackers, then I'd suggest we've got the kiwi let's all be ordinary thing going on.
Top six or better - we need to be better, so some bricks being thrown on the forum is hardly surprising. Anyone that was happy with that result and content with the very flat second half needs to remember it's competitive sport, Aussie style, not a Labour Party kindergarten.
But we're not far off being top four to six competitive. One more marque midfielder (or some rapid improvement from Diego/Brown) would just about do it.

maybe its time for football to have a "third umpire" for close offside calls that affect the outcome of the game. That ref better be feeling reeallly bad for robbing us
Having said that had a great time and even my phoenix virgin friends had a blast. Thanks Yellow Fever!

Sky have nothing to do with the screen at the stadium, the stadium does. The stadium just run sky pictures then slap up a logo when the replays are on
It looked like a goal when I saw it live, looked more like a goal when I saw the replays and now after the third time it's the most obvious goal in the world. The only problem was that the linesman, who didn't flag for a throw all night until the ref helped him, flagged for the offside as soon as he saw Greenie and before he saw the ball was about 20 metres away and falling for Ifill. He had no idea he wasn't in the play. There was no going back from there.

We played very well, and should have put them away in the first 30 mns. After that time, Adelaide slowly started to gain confidence.
As for the second goal for us - simply, it was a poor decision, but we have to take it on the chin and get on with the next game. No point in dwelling on what might have been
Still gutten though!
Gutted we lost, but we were dead for most of the second half which gave Adelaide some breathing space. Can't believe that low corner got past our defenders, should be able to stop those.
Brain explosion?

Who were the f@*kingmuppets who threw the bottles at the end of the game. FFS all that has happened is that the Fever are once again branded as bottle throwing holligans by the stadium and security. If any one knows them, give them a good uppercut cos they aint done the Fever any favours at all.
Probably the muppets who were walking around with the balaclavas. The only reason to be wearing one of those to a football match, is to cause trouble.
Allegedly
No. The moment Greenacre made a run towards the ball he became active and had to be flagged.
The ref has to go with the linesman on such a close call (that's why that's one of the linesman's role, I dare say). I haven't had the benefit of Sky analysis but the Utube clip I saw, suggests that Greenacre for the split second that the ball was passed was offside. Hence the split second call by the linesman is accurate.
The vitriol toward the ref on the night was justified (bar the missile of course) but in the cold light of the day, I'd say 'get over it'.
