Sorry, chaps  lost in translation...
but long story short ,...it involved loose threads, on white trousers with a very nubile nimble tailor fixing everything... a lost moment!

as you were...
Best chance to bust the Adelaide bogey yet this Friday.
All out attack, 11 midfielders... that will confuse them.

Maybe a silly question, but I'm bringing a couple of people along to the game on friday, with me and my mate who have season tickets

We can get lounge tickets from a mate, are we able to get into the YF zone with these? Obviously we cant just trade them for YF tickets as if we bought normal stadium tickets. Any idea if this is possible?

So did your FIFA game give the crowd size (did you see us in Aisle 23)?

Yeah we were up there once because a couple of my mates didnt want to sit with the Fever, it was aweful, no yelling/standing allowed

It's fair to say those guys won't be coming on friday. Time to pick up the new home strip from the shop!

No room for complacency though. Need more midfielders.

So:  Weakened Adelaide team, Phoenix smarting after an embarrasing loss, fine weather for Friday home game (hopefully big crowd)

= Good Result (if the lads don't think it's a given).

wow thats  a bit suprising.  Thought we would have had longer odds than that against last years finalists and a team we've never beaten..

That would indicate to me we will be:

Lochhead - Dura - McKain - Siggy

or

Lochhead - Siggy - McKain - Dura

With a more attacking midfield, or possibly Lia starting in McKains usual role

also probably means Ferrante out too. possible daniel out wide starting?

hmm this makes things interesting...

                  Paston
Sigmund Durante McKain Lochhead
Bertos    Lia      Diego     Daniel
         Greenacre     Ifill

But Ferrante/ Brown will probably be starting with Daniel on Bench I think.
Lia has got to start.
So it depends if Ricki leaves Ferrante playing or what??

are you sure he'll start Diego? you might find the Ferrante gets a lucky break and Diego is dropped with Brown on the bench.

Queenslander 3x a year.

Would like to see:
                       Paston
Siggy    Dura         McKain         Lochy

Bertos     Hearfield      Ferrante/Brown       Caceres

                 Iffil                 G-acre

Bench:
Chen
Lia
Hearfield
Crowther

I know it's highly improbable but meh, you have to dream! Haha.

If McKain is going to CB I would put money on Brown starting. I'd be happy with that - he'll be rearing to go and the responsibility will suit his temperament. Surely Diego wont start - it would make a mockery of his pre-halftime sub last week.

Regardless of the makeup of the midfield I think it's a good thing McKain plays at the back.  He's (porbably) our best defender, so he should play there.

If we play Durante or Siggy at RB we'll need to be aware that we won't have the same attacking support down that flank, gives Locky a license to get forward though as there should always be cover

Normo's coming home

Folks, don't mean to be picky or come across as too much of a cheerleader, but these articles are either exact copies or basic re-writes of the clubs press-release.

How about we try and link the club article rather than sending people to the aus sites.  I can guarantee you there are people dim enough at the FFA to complain that there is no interest in the Phoenix due to a shortage of website hits.

Try to give the club your love.
