I doubt it, but if it was given to him for 'sentimental reasons' then someone, Durante or Ricki probably, has slipped up badly decision-wise.

That is the only reason I can think of. You only do that when you're 3-0 up

this might seem a little weird, but maybe it was decided before the game that Dadi would be on pens.  He would have taken them most of his career (unlike Ifill) and some players do not really like taking them.

So before we start trying to bomb him out of the club, lets wait and see what is said post match.

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

Still don't think he should've taken the pen even if it was decided pre game. It's obvious he was playing crap and not in the game at all + pressure was getting to him. Common sense.

Yeah but his heads not in it tonight at all,if ricki couldnt see that theres something wrong. And it definetly showed in the way he took the penalty. That and Ifill is a good penalty taker, never even looks close to missing.

I don't think Ricki would have anything to do with that decision. Usually its made on the field.

Why are we still up watching this? It's like watching a wounded bull after its been given its last rights.

passes not being completed must be horrendous for out team tonight. Perhaps a better analogy is that this game is like having a 6 cylinder car operating on only 4 cylinders as far as the Nix are going.

I agree with you.Bringbacksmeltz

(confused face was at giving it to dadi) when Ifill looks like the  most convincing pen taker.

Watching the tennis after the first half was full of crap. Guess we had a penalty and Dadi screwed it (worse than our other misses?) that about it for our good side?

This game, the Queensland game and the two Sydney games (SFS and PNorth) have been atrocious, the good thing is they don't happen in a row, hopefully this is our last one of the season.

This is all part of the cunning plan to lure Melbourne into a false sense of complacency. It's working brilliantly!
