Why I like stripes (stripping 2009)

No idea.  All I know is that they will be internally approved in the next week according to folks in Aus.

Can't see them being unveiled (except maybe the new clubs) before the finals are done.  People don't want to be left with armfuls of the old kit.

It's still Reebok for another two years HK.  They have just been a bit more flexible.

I would prefer the "Ajax" look - a black shirt with a nice thick yellow strip down  the centre and back. Even in reverse it would be nice....

He's probably just tackled one of his own players

Normo's coming home

I also like the old fella in the background of the photo who is staging some kind of 1 man protest with his back turned to the field.  Is it to do with ticket prices or the fact that Greene is still allowed to play football after all the carnage he has caused?

Deal was 5 seasons but if Reebok are doing a whole new range for next season both home and away for every club I don't see them gone in only 1 season.

I also suspect that any new deal will be a whole league deal, not the clubs allowed to go to who they want.  The FFA won't lose that control.

First 09/10 strips from Reebok, expect something similar for the A-League and in terms of styling.  Looks like the Diadora strips os about 2005 (Crystal Palace in the premiership spring to mind)

Normo's coming home

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.
