Nacho, the former Spanish national team and Real Madrid defender is a free agent.

Nacho to marshal the defence, Lasanga and Lasogga to lead the line.

We just need a little naani bread to finish this off.

In that gastronomical vein, let's bring that nondescript Estonian defender, Heinrich Kasser, out of retirement (he played for two seasons only retirining at 20)
https://www.transfermarkt.com/heinrich-kasser/profil/spieler/180797

for the sole reason so that we could chant at the stadium:
"Kasser!
Kasser!
Kasser-ole!)

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

Solksjaer would probably score a few for us. Good point, but no letting him drive the bus.

I’ve given a bit of thought to this. If we have too much Lasangna and Nacho for an hour, we might end up with Immobile the inevitable outcome in the late second half.

Regards all these speculative signings, the old saying "foods rush in where angels fear to tread". there is a smorgasboard of speculation but so far nothing we can get out teeth into, just bite sized rumours. Anyone else finding thid all a bit much to swallow?

At this stage Wrexham will be playing a bunch of kids - or at best, we will of made a couple signings who will still be learning their team mates names.

We haven't even replaced all the staff we lost yet... which is another warning sign for potential players one imagines.

I'm sure we've got 4-5 new signings to announce alongside the new kit; all of whom are match-fit and ready to hit the ground running.

...Right?

When does pre season training start? One week away or is it longer?

July 1st, which is also when the European transfer window opens.

This was someone's starting XI for Wrexham match, based on the current squad. Ain't that bad.

Sheridan Payne Hughes LKH

But it's not a bunch of kids like you stated it could be.
Plus it's roughly about 4 months before the Nix play their next A League game.

A huge amount can happen (for better or worse in that time). Zero point being worked up about who the Nix have signed or not signed in June.

I think the biggest worry is not the lack of signings at this point but that all of the imports are still there and none have mutually moved on.

Maybe that becomes easier from the 1st July if we are talking about Oluwayemi.

And from the 7th July for either Ishige or Nagasawa. Looks like the next transfer window for the J League is July 7th to August 20th.

Doubt any of the 3 are interested in leaving on a free, without a new club deal elsewhere.

Only four months till the next game?

It’s cutting it a bit fine to gel in that time. Maybe get barber or Fenton back to trim us into shape.

Signing news in the morning. No idea if men or women’s team. Potentially the latter as word “another” used.

Would you believe... a women's team signing tomorrow?

Hey! One or two of them were merely mediocre…

I would want to see Payne at RB if possible. He’s been a revelation there and is the AW number one there I believe.

I think Loke and one other ex-academy CB maybe be in the mix there. Surely? Otherwise why were Sheridan and LKH played further forward last season?

Permalink Permalink

Payne will not want to move to CB... puts his position at RB at risk for the national team.

That is quite a signing if true and quite a statement.

Really impressive CV.

And don’t the Nix love a hyphenated name!!

Same club as Mcgarry last season. Maybe he put in a good word for the Nix?

Was at PSV 2015-2019. Ryan Thomas arrived there 2018, though did his knee almost straight away.

Isimat-Mirin also had 2 seasons (2021 & 2022) at Sporting Kansas in MLS, just missing Winnie Reid who was at SKC in 2020.

Edit - ahhh YH has revealed it's all bogus. Back to reading food puns.

So signing we want: as above

Signing we are getting: Donachie

Still, a genuine bogus rumour! Awesome

And maybe Lasogga joins on a game by game deal, who knows? It could happen

Lasogga! It's happening!!1!

If this actually happened what a truly stunning redemption story for HattyCW (aka Wusty)!

A part time job for life in the Nix recuitment office awaits, plus a photo op shaking Pierre-Michel's hand, and/or jointly together holding a Nix scarf aloft.

Edit - maybe a taseful artistic photo including Lasogga's mum.

Throwing another name out there with no evidence beind it, but Asumah Abubakar has just left the Roar. A real livewire in his half-season with the Roar, and I wouldn't be against getting him.

Would imagine clubs use all sorts of sources when searching for players dont see the issue if they got it from the forums.
Not much difference from  YF scouting Marco for them.

Was this an actual tweet from the club? Can't see anything 🤔

Also, I hate to be a Buzz Killington, but...

100% support this as well.

Only had a small snapshot in the A-League with Brisbane, but he made a big impact.

When I saw the news he had left, I thought he may be the new striker.

But of a different package to Kosta.

Don’t quite get the soggy link however.
