We've gone back to a 343 (though with the left more attacking than the right) and having Roa Conchie for his pressing, Piper to rb, at the expense of LKH so a bit quicker backline.
Personally I think that the Kelly-heald brothers should both be starting, Lukas has been one of the best players every week for this team and McCarron just had 5 put behind him. I just think that Chiefy isn’t making the right decisions even when his job is on the line.
Our midfield/attacking play has been appalling, we are lucky we were gifted the goal. At least our defense and keeper have improved a bit since the last game but it isnt like the Roar are putting them under much pressure
We’ve had VAR refuse a clear pen last week, interfere to give Cosgrove a pen that usually isn’t given, take no action against Brisbane as Ishige was fouled out of the season…
I know you’re not the biggest fan of referees, but that looked like a clear red card (take away the push and shove that followed).. armiento didn’t complain martinb
Not getting pictures this week for some reason.

How does this rate?
I actually thought it was a 50/50 , both players outstretched, one guy feigned injury and the other got red carded despite both lunging at it. From the two replays I saw anyway. I think the ref has lost the plot.
Studs hit ankles, I think the way the brisbane player lunged in, and the tackle before it, both played into it but it's a clear red under the current interpretations. No idea how Eze was the one to pick up the yellow tho, which is annoying coz hell have to watch his step from now own, and the concerns for suspension down the line
Red or not does the referee not have to review the VAR tape or is he just taking their word for it? And how does Eze get a yellow in that? there's no way they can single him out without reviewing replays, except VAR can't rule on yellows? I have no idea how any of this works any more
From the view we got given i reckon red every day. If it was one of ours fouled we would be screaming for a red. Question needs to be asked where is the view of Armiento being floored holding his jaw thats what kicked it off.

Just want something to go our way.
A few times!
First goal was nice for that, but this seems less so…

Ref gave the red onfield, VAR didn't recommend a review i.e they agree, or have no alternate angle which contradicts the on field decision.
