Then post game gotta grab toddler on the way home because first thing tomorrow I gotta head over to the Wairarapa for a family thing.
Well, I moved to the other side of the world in June and thought that was a good time to swear off the Phoenix fixation to save my sanity. Went cold turkey on media reports but they increasingly found their way to me as the team did better and better. It's my first log-in since I left. Seems truly ironic to me that, after 17 years of avidly following the team with limited returns, things dramatically improve once I leave. But if that's what it took to turn things around, I'm happy to oblige (PS I don't really believe this). Anyway, best of luck everyone. I so wish I could be at the game. Of course I'm on a farking plane at the time but I'll get WiFi for text updates.
Is there a time zone slightly further away you can move to next year? Might be the difference between 2nd and 1st on the ladder.

Even some of my work colleagues are talking about the game, wish I could be there, still remember that game against the Jets, what an atmosphere it was. One of the things I miss moving here to Taupo. GO THE MIGHTY NIX.

Done the family thing of going with the wife and kids to the zoo, was great to see so much nix gear in show! No awaiting to head into town for the pre match buzz! Cannot wait! Was at the zoo too. The giraffes didn't seem to understand why I told them 'oh Wellington is wonderful!'
Just drove from Waikanae to Wellington. Saw 3 cars along the journey with Phoenix scarves on their dash, or the vehicle occupants kitted out in nix gear etc 💪🏼 Let’s go!
