We were worth the win, but the seeds were sown for self-destruction when Ifill had to go off. We lost that cool head in midfield and it showed.

Anyone keen to fork out for a new watch for Mr Green?  Fair dinkum.  Way after 3 minutes, so much more time he infact lets the Phoenix have a pot shot from halfway even after... did he misread it as 4 minutes?  His decision making for the last 10-15 minutes of that match was horrible, how he missed the foul on Caceras I will never know.

I'm not sure how Michael Ferrante continually finds himself in the squad.  He's absolutely hopeless.  I reckon he'd struggle to score from half a metre out with an open net, somehow he'd find a way to turn a free kick from that position into a rushed volley over the bar.  

Once again 2 points lost,  we need to kill teams off,  we should have had at least 2 before the break.  Im absolutly gutted by this result,  we have thrown away 8 points this season by not killing off the opposition.

Yes.  I am also referring to the goal he gave away earlier in the season when he coughed up possession plus another sitter of a goal he missed this season.  What exactly does Ferrante bring to this team???

He's not the target of blame, he's a player that I seriously cannot see the worth of having in the squad.  He's inaccurate with his touches in the same way we found Steven O'Dor and co to be at the start.

Worst thing is we can't blame any individual. Oh, hang on, of course...

Right....

try timesing this by 5 and we'll understand how the saudi's felt when they let in last second goal.

I'm waiting for the Sack Ricki squad to start up again. Unfortunately when you concede dumb freekicks in dangerous positions on the pitch in the dying minutes, what do you expect??? Ultimately people will blame Ricki for that when in fact it was the stupidity of the players. Thats why they call it 'coach killers'

If Daniel had slotted, if Fowler had stayed onside..... If If If If If. We had that game and threw it away with the inability to finish chances. Can't blame the ref, can't blame the coach, can't blame anyone except the XI on the park at the end of the game because they threw it away after all the good work done in the previous 92mins. And before anyone starts up about the time, its MINIMUM 3 mins added on. Also take into account the 2 cautions in injury time, the timing was spot on.

Season 1 redux for the nix, playing well but not getting the points. we've had 4 games on the trot where we have played well and thrown it away.

Edit: Forgot the Sydney result in that run of 4 but 1 win, 4 draws and 2 loses, we need to convert that to wins AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH

I can take you back to the Kingz history... 2 minutes extra time signalled and conceding 94th minute goals.

Well that's 93 minutes of my life I'll never get back. Not impressed.

well that was so crap i had to join this forum finally to release my angst. great goal in the 7th minute, for the other 87minutes a painful lack of finishing. why is it always ferrante,brown or daniel on the end of our chances. 3 draws=1 .winfrom the moment ifill left it was all downhill.

Not good enough.

First half we looked good, but should have been 3 or 4 nil up.
2nd half I don't know if that was tactical or not, but f**king defending that deep in our own half could have cost us the game earlier.
PISS WEAK defending off that set piece.

I have said for a while Herbert is not the man to get the Phoenix any further forward. Time to start looking for a new manager.

I guess not loud enough for me to hear all the way from Auckland but on tv the second half sound dead quite apart from the odd moment, I text a mate and he told me it seemed quite at the game too.

I guess I'm being harsh on the first half, that was not bad come to think
