Smeltz i will neither give a clap or boo to. Was never my favorite at the NIx. but has proved hes class this year.

When he shows up on Nov 14th in White (Or black that is) I will profess my love for him once more.

All Aboard the Phoenix/ All Whites Bandwagon!!

No because the teams are in different leagues...I'm sure Phoenix fans support other teams and wear other teams shirts (Utd, Arsenal etc).

Wore a United shirt to my first ever Phoenix game... it was when I didn't live in Wellys and was down for a weekend. I will NEVER do that again, the other lads around me (RIGHTLY) let me have it.    A Phoenix match is for Phoenix gear - or at the very least - something yellow!!!

By wearing yellow, rivalries get put aside.

If you have the parochialism of tribes supporting rival sides in the zone, the zone can never function properly as one unit - not that we ever manage it anyway.

Just make sure when professing your love that you do not give him the clap.  That might affect his scoring ability.

How we welcome Dodd then? Who let the Dodd out? I won't be booing Dodd although he did bag us when he left

I just have this feeling in my bones that some of the players may 'welcome' Dodd back after those comments.

I'm not convinced by that.  He shopped himself around a bit and then when he got another offer he slagged the club.

I think the wallabies are at the holiday inn, so it might be a good chance that the Fury will be there also.

Go and take a close look at his career, 4th highest scorer in the Premier League, surpassed Ian Rush as Liverpools' goalscorer, Fa Cup winner 2001, UEFA Cup 2001, League Cup 1995, 2001, Champions League Runners up 2007... hmmm.. so that's nothing eh... but anyway surely doesnt come anywhere close to winning YOUR Capital 14 Div B Certificate..... I agree who ever wrote the pandemic made a mistake.

No one has said you can't support those teams in the stadium, but if you are doing so because of a Phoenix opposition player the Fever would prefer it if you did so from the opposition section.Although we do discourage wearing any other professional clubs shirts in the Fever Zone, it isn't actually banned.

If someone in the Zone is likely to cause trouble by supporting opposition players, of course Red Badge can always move them along...

If people are in the Zone, they should be wearing Phoenix gear, Yellow Fever gear, or just something yellow.

What signal does it send to the A-League and Terry with his well spent $$$ when they see people showing up in the Fever Zone wearing a bunch of different Premier League shirts Ard Righ2009-09-17 19:40:31

To put a positive spin on it - at least people are showing up to the game whether it be in green, yellow , black or whatever...

As stated, no problem coming to the game to see Fowler but the Fever Zone is about supporting the Phoenix.  If you want to support a NQF player, pop down the other end and cheer him on.

Can you not support the phoenix and robbie folwer at the same time?

Just cause they may wear a Fowler shirt doesnt mean they necessarily want to see the Fury win..

I can't believe people can't see that supporting an opposition player can not possibly equate to supporting the Phoenix.  If people think they can manage it, then they can sit somewhere else. The Fever Zone is NOT about supporting anything to do with the opposition and will probably make some anti-Fowler related noise... that alone is a potential flashpoint looking at the over-reation of Blocker to some light LOLs in the Pandemic.

If you want to wear red (or anything Liverpool then this week) the zone is not for you.

Yellow Fury would be all over the ninja outfits. Hard News2009-09-17 20:56:57

Don't think anyone is in a position to be precious.
Anyone coming for the first time is a conversion opportunity.
No more draws please. Lets get a win and get them back.

I think there is a big difference between being a Fowler fan and a Fury fan,

If that was the case, I better sit in the away section when Smeltz plays..

Yep, wouldn't under estimate the Fury .
1-0 will gives us the points we desperatly need though with a habit of us conceeding goals, we might need two, at least.

If your supporting him when he is playing for GCU then yes. Football is a team sport. This concept of supporting 1 player doesn't work for me.Gangsta!2009-09-17 21:02:00
