can't believe the ref didn't give a retake, even after his assistant told him he was wrong... this has been on the cards for a while to be fair, esp after the 55min second half he played in the Southland vs Tech game a few weeks back

Rumour is that Aaron is heading back to Australia, may still have the Golden Boot at the end of the season considering the amount of goals he has already scored.

Two weeks in a row Fearless Phil has striked, quite sad.

Hahahah we call him Steven Boyle down in Queenstown.. but i talked to Steve (coach)about it and he was just so pissed off. Dont think Steven Boyle should be reffing anyway.. always trys to get involved in the game, ruins it in the end ala Saturdays game. Anyway what do you think about the Rovers new strip? i think its class.

It just gets better has can anyone confirm this story?

Sorry, I'd only heard about the penalty retake in the Spirit v Qt game.

I think Roslyn at home should  be too strong but Old Boys a tracking pretty well and are definately a threat.

Why are the  Queenstown Rovers womens team playing in the Southland competition rather than the Dunedin comp? Could they compete agaionst Wakari and Varsity?

Because the girls arnt up to travveling so long on sundays the day before there expected at work.... The mens team usually gets back about 9-9:30ish PM the earliest.. But I think they'd give them a good go i guess we'll see in the knockout cup.

Yeah its good thanks, Kevins pretty cool so thats alright. Im in the 'A' team for my age which is good and were unbeaten so far.. so were looking pretty good!

Obviously the academic side of MAGs hasn't improved much.
Also: aren't, travelling, they're, I, it's, that's, and I'm. Though in all fairness, the Nighthawks don't have an academic side

The travel is a big ask, Southland were in the league for a couple of years but playing in Dunedin every other weekend for the entire season took its toll and they pulled out. It would be good to see an end of season federartion. Perhaps the top 3 Dunedin teams, Sthld, QT and Sth Canty in a single round followed by a final.

In the meantime I'm definately looking forward to watching QT play.

Great to hear things are going well at MAGS.

This sort of grammar / punctuation is rife within the Southern Football (incl Otago United) forum obviously Roslyn or OBHS, possibly both! Peter Evans?

Tech, Roslyn, Caversham & Varsity (extra time) to progress.

Will Patrick Fleming play for Caversham? pulled the pin on Miramar!

Saw Myers in action for Tech for the first time today and was impressed but the best player on the park was Mike Cunningham.

Which result was worse last week, Tech losing to Roslyn or Cavy drawing in Southland?

Cavy v Mosgiel this week should be interesting. See if Mosgiel are contenders or pretenders?

Caversham unfortunately has had a shocker, if Mosgiel wins, the league is over but i reckon it will be a draw.

No incorrect rumours this week..

Just strange predictions..

Cavvy over Mosgiel
Wakari too good for Varsity
Northen to beat the poorly travelled Rovers
Braes to loose to the Spirit (more hope than reason)
and the Onions to cause a major upset over the demorilised Tech (ok ill accept I could be wrong on this one)

Coldicott - The Mosgiel striker went close again with a fierce left footed shot, but slumped down pole-axed immediately afterwards, and had to be stretched off to hospital with a suspected fractured ankle.

he would be a huge loss, how bad was Tim Dunn's tackle?
