why it is a summer league, not really any of the clubs' business to have an opinion

Just thought it would be common courtesy, personally i would want my players to be concentrating on their current season than the next. With the season gone i guess it doesn't matter so much.

I see Havelock is having a bit of a problem with something in the water at the moment but could Mosgiel be having the same problem? I see they have bottled it in the Fletcher Cup in the last two weeks, Just don't know how to win. Lucky Facebook has still got that delete function or there would be a bit of egg on the face of a few big names out there.

Having 3 points taken off them for fielding a player who's been at the club since he was 4 didn't help either.

So have i mate, but im not stupid enough to play/not register. Amateur hour out on the plains. They're probably happy it will give them something to complain about come awards night. At least the cleaners after the Otago awards nights won't be having to scrub cum off the floor under the "Fletcher Cup" winning table after all the back handed wristies that would of been going on.

For someone constantly complaining about poor chat coming from over the hill, you offer some questionable chirp of your own.

It's not so much the poor chat, it's more that the chat that doesn't get backed up.

Logic - had Mosgiel won div 1 it would have been like the World Cup so suck it up. Brookside - is this for real? That's a very competitive league for a couple young bucks coming straight out of the southern league. Couple seasons of national league under the belt before going offshore might put them in better stead to be truthful.

Out on the Plains they would rather play with GC's like Callum Flaws than win league titles

Logic = Reid from Roslyn, nothing to do with Mosgiel, cheers.

Meh... Personally I reckon they're better off having a crack while they're young. Teams in Europe - especially in England - aren't really interested in players once they're passed the young "potential" phase. In reality they're close to this point already. But very little to lose in having a crack, we all know there's a massive element of luck involved. Good luck to them.

As cultured as Che Bunce's left foot and as profilic as John Lammers

no I still would not have cared in the slightest, it is just winning the league in Dunedin, pretty sure no one cares

Someone has coped a ban just now. I suggest everyone take a chill pill and think carefully before posting. Otherwise the ban stick will be wielded more widely.

Mosgiel will be leaving the Cale with tails between their legs AGAIN this saturday. All talk, no walk. There really is only a couple lads over that way that are bearable, what do they put in the water?

Is it true Tom Batty is on his way back to play for Canterubry? And I heard Tasman are after a couple of Southerners?

TB will play his last game for Dunedin Tech this weekend.

From looking at the pics on the DT website he will be playing a lot of golf this summer.

Canterbury have just signed an American GK and now have two keepers signed so don't see a spot there for him.

Tom Batty has been massive for Dunedin Tech and United. Great to have a goal keeper of his pedigree down here. It's a shame he is leaving but we've appreciated the 4 years he has dedicated to Southern football. Wish him all the best back home in ChCh. Ps not sure why you'd import a keeper when you've got Batty at your doorstep.

Ok this is getting really pathetic, "all talk no walk"???? it has been months since anyone from mosgiel has spun some yarns all I ever see on here is you guys talking about us. If you have a genuine problem with us then feel free to come talk tomorrow theres most of the seconds lads that will be happy to sort out any problems if u have any. Stop hiding behind your lame anonymous account . from 12pm till 4pm we will be at the cale show some balls turn up and confront us. Weak and afraid little mice like you dont last long. See you tomorrow but probably not as youll probably just stay inside all day infront of your computer in ur sisters knickers.

This highlights a big problem with a fair few players from Mosgiel and Roslyn - they just don't seem to care about winning that much.

I'm pretty sure they do care about winning. The collection just sounds abit jealous that cavy had a fantastic season.

we care over at Ellis just have had some very disappointing results. The boys always show up game day wanting to win so I don't know where you heard the shark from!

Some of the signing like you had just won the champions league after a league win would suggest that you care.

Only the case this season. I think he has been playing with an injury. Perhaps a summer off is the best thing for him. Can't stay out for too long as a goal keeper though. Have to maintain sharpness.
