and as for the reference to how we didnt support our ex-captain: a) he didn't get arrested and isnt facing 5 years in jail (have i mentioned HAHAHA? because HAHAHA) and b) we arsenal fans were smart enough to realise that our captain was a whingy little c**t and so we said so, you lot are all in denial about gerrard and this just proves he is still the prick he has always been.

Doubt it will happen I can only hope though Liverpool are guaranteed a loss if this happens.they gave joey barton a ban for getting into a fight, gerrard should get the same treatment.

Jeez, arent you all hilarious... This is meant to be the Liverpool thread and nobody is standing up for Gerrard. And I'm serious, I'd rather have Gerrard in my team than anyone in the Arsenal team. How is that an idiotic thing to say? Joey Barton is a thug, he almost killed 5 people, Gerrard just gave this guy (a United fan no less) a bit of a slap. So there's no comparison there, Gerrard can actually play football. His record is otherwise perfect in terms of violence etc. Anyway, that was class how he set up Torres! And Everton in the next round!

first of all, yes we are in fact quite hilarious.
secondly, thats now what you said. you said "our captain is better than your entire team anyhow" which implies that you think that the douchebag in question is better than the whole of the arsenal squad put together..which is, trust me, very idiotic.
and as for the barton v gerrard discussion, the only difference between them it seems is that joey barton can actually fight, vs gerrard being just a bit of a pussy.

Nah, I meant that Gerrard is better than any of your players, in my opinion. But maybe I didnt word it right, so fair enough. Yeah, and then you're the guy saying he should be jailed etc etc, and now you're saying he's a pussy which, if he didnt hurt the pussy DJ, why should he get 5 years and Barton, who nearly killed people, not get so long? And some of the chants posted above seem to suggest he knows how to fihgt... He's from Huyton after all, la!

Personally I don't know why the arse fans are so full of themselves anyway. They're 5th, playing like sh*t and one of their best players is gone for most of the rest of the season and Whinger doesn't have any money to buy anyone good in January. At this rate they'll be lucky to play UEFA cup next season.
All I know is right now I wake up every morning knowing we're 3 points clear on top of the table, we're in the 4th round of the FA Cup and we're in the knock out stages of the UCL.
It may not last but right now that's all that counts so enjoy it and enjoy the fact that these guys that are hassling us can't say the same.

Nah, but seriously, I think the League should be first priority although they will be well fired up for both games. Playing us is like their Cup Final!

How you start a 4-5-1 formation with no out-and-out strikers against a team that you know will be looking to play for a point is beyond me.
Possesion is one thing, but if you're clogging up the midfeild with no-one roaming up front then is pretty f*cking useless.
Angers... 
edit: Fingers crossed for a Scum/Chelski draw, but we really shouldn't be in a position of having to rely on other fixtures' results going our way.

That Lucas Leiva has got to be the most average midfielder i have ever seen, Alonso was sorely missed....Why oh why Keane didnt come on for Lucas and Stevie back to midfield at half time i dont know........2 points lost there for mine
