Nah, just a wind up.....I think Torres has bought into the passion and loyalty that certain new players feel when they arrive at Anfield - the Kop love him and that must mean the world to players.
He isn't going anywhere and from where I am he seems to be really enjoying his footie at Liverpool. As long as he doesn't score at the Bridge on Oct 26th you can keep him!

Hahaha! I reckon he'll score a couple at the Bridge but it should be a cracking game. Your right about the Anfield atmosphere, the Kop counts for alot keeping players at the club. Hopefully the ridiculous money being talked about and dodgy agents stay out of it.
Now if only we could sort the ownership of the club out!

Great idea, every dodgy scouser in Liverpool would be counterfeiting tickets and accommodation to get the free cash!
Still, its a good call and I reckon UEFA should use the cash to help the Pool supporters, still I can't see it happening, UEFA and FIFA only give out cash when there's something in it for them.

Yep, from what I'm reading it sounds like the game will be held in Madrid, UEFA are talking about postponing the ban so it doesn't stuff up all the Liverpool fans plans

Yeah not good timing at all. Fortunately for us Wigan lost both their strikers to injuries on international duty and Chelsea has about 12 guys out injured at the moment.
I'm concerned about the Athletico games though, we don't want to finish 2nd in our pool or we'll have to face one of the big boys early.

Oh Dirk always had faith. Looking like a top class striker now he gets to play up front. Another comeback and another late one.
Don't know what Steve Bruce is going on about, Valencia showed no discipline and slide hard and from behind. Not "Two players challenging for the ball"
Zaki is pretty impressive, thought he was good before this game even more impressed now.

Disappointing draw today, nice to Sinama and Luis again though.
Scrappy game, but we were cruising throughout. Until Carra let the ball bounce. That said wasn't the worst result. One complaint, refs and linesman were crap, ruled out two legit goals (one for each side) and gave Riera a yellow for diving when he was obviously caught in the box.

Hey fella's! Rough go of it this morning. Watched the end of it and caught some highlights. That linesman was SO sh*te! I mean advantage to the attacking man considered and he still got them wrong! Probably drunk. Bloody Ruski's.

I didn't catch this mornings game, this damn work stuff keeps getting in the way of football.
I'm worried that we are seriously running out of strikers, with Torres still recovering and Keane doing a groin today, thats leaves us with Kuyt up front (and maybe Babel I guess). Still that isn't ideal when you have Chelsea on the weekend and Athletico and soon after.

I want to see N'Gog and Nemeth, heard some good things in preseason. And supposedly Pacheco, an attack mid, is quite good. Really don't know too much though, apart from what I've read on .tv

torres is obviously plenty good enough, but i mean keane wasn't even goon enough to lead a Tottenham strike pair!
apparently benitez had the opportunity to buy Aguero a few years back but opten to buy dirk kuyt and jermaine pennant instead

Fark thats a bit rough! And banitez is a Twit for missing out on Aguero! That kid's a ninja, him and Torres would tear up any EPL or Champions League defence!
Give Rafa a break, it was several years ago and the guy was young and unproven.
The draw was an ok result but Keane should have scored 2 by half time. Gerrard put one on a plate for him on the edge of the 6 yard box and he tried a fancy back heel flick and missed it completely. All he had to do was side foot it and it's 2-0.

Well done Liverpool, 3 pts clear of Chelsea and now 8 clear of Man Utd, is this the year? We hope so, but Liverpool has a nice record in the past of losing the so-called easy games, if that record can change, then we will see the title come to Anfield :).

Completely farken brilliant!!
See Scolari admit that the players got it wrong in the second half by playing long balls and crosses into the penalty area which just played to our strengths.
Now just let me go and find that thread on the best defence in the EPL. 
If only I could find those 3 brats outside the Thistle last night that were laughing at me saying that Chelsea would win (I had my lucky 'Pool scarf on with my fever gear).
