Just watched the goals for the first time

F*ck me, what a player

Yeah pretty incredible. All four goals were quite different and all top level with outstanding technique. The little flick-chip inside to set himself up for the half volley then the strike itself for the third though......

Glad I managed to avoid hearing the result all day Thurs, settled down on the couch with a beer and mexican. And man alive was I rewarded! That was some truly something amazing.

Cheering on your cross-town rivals? I guess the rivalry probably isn't as strong in Kuala Lumpur...

Draw is a pretty good result, personally would have been more keen to see the arse win. There are lots of teams in the hunt for 4th and I don't see us winning the league.

What I do like, is that it feels like we are slightly under the radar. Seemed like when we lost to Arsenal everybody wrote us off. I think I prefer that to being out the front early on. Some big games coming up though against close rivals. Spurs away this week

Would have been nice for both teams to lose this morning, but we'll take the draw won't we. Really looking forward to the spurs game.

After LFC beat Spurs and Cardiff, and the Arse lose to Man City and Chelsea we all get a great xmas pressy.

Liverpool top of the table :)))))

Best double meaning in history. Period.

You are an amusing man sir. In fact, that is now my signature.

How do we feel about Gerrard being out? Can't say I am too upset to be honest, Joe Allen, this is your time to shine! He looked quite good against West Ham after Gerrard went off especially with Lucas behind him.

Getting a bit short on centre mids if Hendo is out though

Yep agree with you fully. Gerrard hasn't been at his normal high standards. Very light on cm's if hendo is still out. Alberto time to step up!

Is Suarez on par with last season or even better? If he's on par is it the rest of the team that's stepped up because 2nd is well deserved!

Great weekend for arse-fudgeing of the Norf London sides. I feel like popping in to the Arse thread and having a wee pop at that sanctimonious " The Arsenal" - but instead , I'll make to with three words - Chortle , chortle , chortle.

As for this morning , I wasn't too concerned about the lack of Stevie G. I've said before that the team , note TEAM , plays better without him sometimes. We won this in midfield. I don't think I've seen Allen , Hendo and Lucas have a better combination game , ever. Suarez - cock though he is , is one of he best players I've ever seen. His second goal- wow , just wow. I'm really stoked for Flanno too , great technique to finish that and he's looking more and more comfortable in red. Rodgers got his team , and tactics spot on for this .

don't worry AVB , West Brom need a new manager and you're about to need a new job. Give them a ring , old son.

Didnt we beat you a few weeks ago? And arent we still top of the league?
Yeah, thought so.

Three for me, and two for them.

Classic Guardian stat: Liverpool have scored more goals in open play at the Lane this season than Spurs. Zing!

Ha, great stat. Also Suarez has scored more goals than Spurs have all season (as well as 9 other teams in the league)

Seriously impressive. Especially having missed the start of the season for some reason I can't seem to recall haha.

Has Suarez settled or just become more detemined to leave!! The cloud of him leaving will always be there for me! But he is just playing amazing huh? In saying that, have to give a pretty big rap to Jordy Henderson. He has taken heaps of crap but stepped up big time. Joe Allen is in a similar position.

Hope we can hang on vs Man City! But I do feel like we will bet Chelsea. I saw yesterday a stat that said wedo not play anyone in the top 7 away from home in 2014. Hopefully a pretty good run in

Yeah mate, agree with the cloud! Hope we are looking to boost the squad with a couple of significant signings in jan to help the top four push. I think it's necessary to convince him to stay.
Very happy for Hendo. I've given him a bit if stick last season and the previous but stoked he's emphatically proving me wrong!
Points out of those two matches will go a long way to proving our credentials. They're both conceding a few at the mo.....

I was just walking down Courtenay Place and saw a dude in a Liverpool shirt. I shouted yehaa 5-0 and he ignored me.

If that was anyone on here.....you suck.

That is the Suarez people pay to see. Immense and spectacular. If only the dark side Suarez didn't show up. That was a great game to watch.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Superb team result. Everyone put a shift in. Lucas awesome covering the fullbacks when they were getting pushed back by spurs wingers. Allen has stepped up big time after his injury, when he first came in I felt he was a bit lightweight but of late he's been getting stuck in and working his socks off very impressed. Suarez is just amazing. Wenger can piss off with that bid. He's in the Bale price bracket now. Flano's goal just brilliant, loved the back heel from Hendo too after his great run from midfield. Sterling played like a man possessed putting challenges in all over the place he could have had more than one goal. Couthino's first touch is as silky as a babies backside. Buys him so much time when he's in a tight space and the lay off for hendo to eventually score was top drawer. Good boost of confidence before the upcoming big games.

Ha Tyler, that sucks bro! Probably some solid fairweather shark right there!
On a side note.... see the girl at the start not shake Lois' hand? Cheeky stuff haha! Well played but him though. Bit of a chuckle then tears Spurs apart.
