Yip, Kelly is class. Gonna get an England call-up soooon (not that thats saying much I suppose!)
Aurelio is a really tidy footballer- great technique etc. Just so injury prone that you could never rely on him for a first team place. Yeah, Maxi is great to have in the squad- but what a miss. Like him a lot though, another tidy player.

wow john henry's explanation for the carroll fee is remarkably logical, surprised it hasnt been put so simply in any stuff i've read on the net
basically said all he wanted was carroll plus 15mil in exchange for torres, so the actual prices didnt matter, only the difference... newcastle and Perennial strugglers Liverpool both come away happy, Europa League side Chelsea the over-paying mugs (not that they care)

Good article that. He's generally a good writer too. Ahhh, I really don't know what to think about Torres. Sometimes I'm angry and I hate him. Other times I feel sorry for him. And other times I think that I can understand it all. Sometimes, I can see a lost little boy in there somewhere. What was that quote I read? "Somewhere, admist 50 million pounds of footballer, sat a little boy lost from Fuenlabrada." I really just don't know 
And I do think Carra had a large part to play in it all. Not his biggest fan, but on a sidenote, Carra was immense yesterday. Defo his kind of game and we were sitting deep so he got away with his lack of pace, but man. What a first half he had.
Still, defo don't want Torres to do well and wouldn't it be fking great if we got into the Top Four at their expense... Stranger things have happened! (See Owen leaving us for Madrid for 'European Glory....)
