Oh you were talking about the send off.
He gave Webb the chance and he took it.On another day he may have gotten away with it.
Silly tackle really.

Shooting themselves in the foot L'pool. Man U hardly threatened ('pool hardly as well). But dumb play has cost 'Pool so far. EdmondDantes2011-01-10 03:25:00

Yep it is not like Webb needs an excuse to favour united at OT. Stupid stuff from Gerrard.

Torres subbed.

At times Torres seems like a petulant kid

Well, harsh done by on the pen. But good signs, showed a lot of fight, put in the extra effort with 10. Martin Kelly has been good this season, Pepe brilliant as ever.

Hope we can continue to show this kind of effort, but with a little more quality in finishing off moves. This was a big match that players should be automatically motivated for so will be interesting to see if the 'pool players can keep up the intensity.

Alright fan power: So far we've ousted a couple of owners, we got the Manager ousted on the weekend, can we now get our refereeing nemesis Howard Webb out of a job?

Good fight from the lads. With Roy on board I was fearing a serious arse whooping but we stuck at it. Hopefully the team and fans will now carry on at Blackpool and give Kenny a huge welcome home at Anfield for the derby.

just saw some short highlights on the news...

f**k berbatov, that was a shocking dive. The red card seems slightly more reasonable, but I only saw one angle for about 2 seconds so I'm not to sure about that

Does Gerrard's red card = suspension in the EPL?

Think Babel is in trouble for that Twitter cheapshot huh!

Tip #182 - Take note for the future, Roy:

Reporter on Torres' form: "..nobody has a magic wand...". Dalglish: "Fernando Torres has a magic wand."

yeah saw that. absolute KING . Actually just so proud, can't wait for the next game- I'm genuinely excited about it, not dreading it! And how great does it feel to be blaming referees again, and not our own manager?! I think Gerrard's red does mean he misses the derby, Blackpool and another game? meh, don't think it was a red, but he should know better than to dive in like that against United at OT.

Yeah, derby/blackpool and wolves I think it is.

It's a bit of a hole to fill but I liked Kenny's intention of bringing on Shelvey. Especially at OT in an FA cup match. Shows he knows these kids with the time he's spent with them and he's willing to back them too.
Also promising to see that he was prepared to sub Torres too. Brings players back to earth that does. Give me 110% or if I see it's not working you'll come off.

I want us to thrash the other 'Pool this week but need to be weary I can't stay up on cloud 9 for too long...TheKop2011-01-10 09:54:19

Cheapshot? What a legend.

Also...there is a transfer window happening too. Wonder if kenny has got a shopping list. Rumours have it that he was keen to sign Turan in the summer but Roy said no!

Yeah, never a fan of his. Big time diver at the WC. Talented but not much class.

I think the derby will be a cracker. Plans are being made for a huge welcome home for Kenny and I wouldn't surprised if the atmosphere was the same as a European night. To be fair, I think we'll be behind the 8 ball on paper but I'm hoping our 40,000 strong 12th man will get us through.
