Very good save from Howard on Torres shot, pity Maxi couldn't convert.

Good first half, worked pretty well. Howard had a busy half.

Nah was a definite penalty, Howard went down when he shouldn't have. There was no way it wasn't going to be a penalty, because the only way Howard was getting to the ball was through Maxi.

ya I didn't mean a dubious call, just that it was fortuitous that Howard would completely take out Maxi, that is, the pen was given to us
Disappointing to take only a point after our dominance of the game, but considering we were 2-1 down at one point I suppose I'll take that

all in all, not a bad game for two side mired in a relegation dog-fight

Honours even on the Mersey aye. Haven't seen the match yet but all the write ups I've read so far showed a lot more positives under Kenny. Shame we couldn't nail it though.
Word on the street is Warnock's coming in on loan until the rest of the season. We've also made contact with Mr Suarez so it'll be interesting how that one plays out.
Should have a new CEO in the next week too, no idea who it is, FSG have played their cards close to hand with this one...

Not sure if I'm keen on Warnock....better than Konchesky though. I still believe in the Suarez transfer...maybe part exchange for Babel?
Sounds like Torres has got some Mojo back too which has got to be a big tick for Kenny.....

Honestly don't want Suarez. I remember when Houllier was in charge and Rivaldo wanted to join us, Gerard decided against it due to his personality. I would put Suarez in similar position to Rivaldo without the amazing footballing ability.

that is good stuff
hmmm i think i'll sign one of the world's best players.... oh wait, there's a cheating, diving, crim in my team who says the guy has a bad personality
Permalink
I presume paul is calling Gerrard a cheating, diving, crim. Which is of course, correct.
Three for me, and two for them.
..but I think linds was referring to Gerard as in Houllier, not Gerrard as in the cheating, diving, crim.

I would say thet every time he went down those stairs over the last 40 odd years he would have done exactly the same thing.
Respect.

yip i have, but it didn't mean nearly as much to him as it did to this ^ Guy sh*t he had too take some deep breaths before that as well
A draw doesn't help either of us but we'll take it and i'm sure you will too

Tony Barrett just confirmed that Dalglish has promoted both Suso and Conor Coady to Melwood. i.e training with the big boys from now on!
