Didn't see a lot of Suso and he's been subbed for Jason Banton (who's already set up a miss and missed a shot himself)

I'm watching in between doing other things...

Only just turned 16 I think, keep him under wraps for a bit longer. The vultures will be circling...

I see my attempt at 'smoke and mirrors' didn't work...

Wow, looks like he played well on both the left and right side! Can't argue with a kid who does that.. That Youth Team is really really good though, and has some great players in.

hard to say. Where Suso has been playing at reserves level, Sterling has been only at the U-18s level (I believe?), so that'd be a pretty big step up.

Is Sterling at Melwood yet?

Very talented player ; probably not physically ready for Prem yet but worth a time with the Reserves to see how he goes.Carling squad?
Isn't it great to have a few young players that may be quite special!!

Don't believe he's at Melwood yet.

A lot of praise needs to go to Pep Segura, Frank McParland and Rodolofo Borrell. Those guys are making LFC's future stars very bright indeed. Throw in Kenny and Steve Clarke now with the first team and it brings a smile to the dial!

Sterling, Coady, Flanaghan, and Robinson jetting their way to Prague.

Could be an interesting line up!

Teacher: " So class , did we all have a good holiday?"

Class: " Yes , Miss Higginbottom"
Teacher: " Who wants to tell us about it? Yes , Tommy?"
Tommy: "Went to Blackpool , miss"
Teacher: "Very good , Tommy. Anyone else? Raheem?"
Raheem: "Went to Prague and played for Perennial strugglers Liverpool in a European competition , miss"

Little sod's still at school and has just started school holidays. Still , Great to see the King at least taking these kids along- can only be good for them.

Dalglish on Sterling at the press conference:

"We've got a babysitter organised for him tonight at the hotel and he's doing his homework before he goes to sleep!"

Morning fellas,
From the good news file: a US judge has told Hicks to f..off and die ( my slight abbreviation)  , meaning he can't mount his legal challenge.
Hopefully the remnants of that grubby little period are now diminishing rapidly.
Looking forward to see how the pre-schoolers go this morning
YNWA.

Match day, finally!

No Sterling, the trip and the atmosphere will do him wonders though.

Team: Reina, Johnson, Wilson, Kyrgiakos, Carragher, Lucas, Aurelio, Kuyt, Maxi, Meireles, Ngog.

Subs: Skrtl, Kelly, Cole, Coady, Pacheco, Jovanovic

Hmm , dunno about that team.Wilson hasn't convinced me yet.I like Kelly but I also see the need for a rest I guess but he's only young .
Jovanovic
Suarez cup tied?

Not surprised Sterling not on the bench, not a place to debut a young pacey player. It will be pretty damn cold in Prague and I expect it to be a pretty hard place to play.

Conor Coady has flown relatively under the radar England U17 captain and promising defender.

Thought Coady was a midfielder? Ah well, whatever he is, hope he gets a bit of a run out! And hope pacheco gets a look in... Rather see him come on than Jova.

Come on, you Mighties!

Couldn't agree more. Very very good acquisitions to the club.

Absolute prick. Am gonna follow Kop's lead- don't know why I had it on in the first place! Less said about that half the better, but no major, we can take them back to Anfield. It'd be nice if we could get an away goal though
