Is it not strange that when Utd don't win there are 20 people ready to gloat, but when they do win, as in 5-2, after being 2-0 down, there is hardley a ripple.

Watched highlights of the match last night and I must say that I thought Carrick was fouled by Gomes. It seemed like Carrick got the touch to go around Gomes who was stranded as he had already committed himself to diving at the player's feet, Carrick simply drew the foul by collapsing over Gomes' body but who doesn't? Fair penalty in my eyes, I don't know what Harry is so upset about unless I missed something?

Now seeing as we gave up a 2 goal lead to give you the title, can you please Knock the Arse out of Europe for us?

I have seen the replay a dozen times. The keepers hands missed Carrick, but his body got him. All the so called experts reckon it was dubious. It was a penalty.

You mean gloating about a penalty that wasnt one? Once again United get their almost compulsory home penalty. Good goals after that but psychologically that penalty screwed Spurs up.

And if you think I am talking crap, even Howard Webb says he got it wrong.

To be honest, I've seen the replay and I honestly can't see why it was such a controversial call. It's not like that awful desicion against Bolton.

My own opinion, I actually think it is a penalty, I don't care what Howie Webb says. Never mind.

How about the Arsenal match this morning? Thought it was very enjoyable, the first half was fantastic. I bank us to get a goal in the away leg so the Arse will need 3. Good stuff.

Its making up for the away penalties we don't get but should. Still 1 penalty can't be an excuse when the game ends 5-2, even if it did kick them into life.

Good to see our new Right Winger O'Shea play dismourning :DMichael2009-04-30 17:08:32

Nice performance this morn, Anderson, Carrick and Evra were impressive. Gutted about Ronaldo's strike.

You know we belong together...

As much I'd like to see someone else win it for a change, I can see United walking it.

I am not sure which game you were watching, but Anderson was only average, and Carrick was back to his normal- giving the ball away.

Real fans go in late to school/work

Three for me, and two for them.

I have a mum.

Only game I get to go late for is CL Finals.. no matter how hard I try. Normally catch like 10 minutes at the train station though.

at least these no Roman team playing... But still.

Cheers guys.

Not hard to see that those early two goals just knocked the stuffing totally out of the tie and ended it. Having said that, Cristiano performed unbelievably, and Rooney as always was class. Great defence, only bad thing being the red card, which was an awful decision.

Gonna be very interesting to see who we play in the final.

So what the free kick for the 2nd goal was an awful decision. Deal with it.

Three for me, and two for them.

Good to be reassured UTD fans aren't the only ones who will walk out on their team with so long to go. What a performance, shame about the red, but I'd prefer Scholes or Giggs in there anyway.

Ref might have not expected a freekick there would be so devestating though. Unlucky that the ref maybe viewed the challenge wrong, apalling that an appeal can't be made.

I was carded for exactly the same thing (yellow, wasn't a DOGSO) a few years back now. No complaints from me, I knew exactly what I was doing, just as Fletcher did when he scissored Fabregas' legs.

Actually there's just no scope to appeal... the only instance is if it's mistaken identity. That tells us little.

As for the final, Barca will be without Dani Alves and Abidal for the final, Abidal's dismissal looked a bit iffy (maybe - only saw it once), so its affecting both teams that made the final.
