You know what I meant. It's hilarious that Arsenal stick by him either way

Fuck this stupid game

Are you still trying to wind up Arsenal fans when they have just seen their team win a major trophy? Give it up already.

Good luck getting a competent manager and finishing top 4 at a push next season.

Three for me, and two for them.

Presumably we will have the LVG/Giggs announcement in the next few hours. Louie to say he's briefed Woodward on transfer targets; Ryan to continue in player/assistant role (?); and see you all after the World Cup.

LOL.

One persons opinion. Grow up.
Rich of you to tell him to grow up after you had that dig at him earlier about still hearing voices.

Honestly its bloody sad that you Arsenal idiot run here after your team wins an FA Cup.

We could have ran off to your little thread every year for the pass 20 odd years.

Its honestly pathetic. At least we stick to ourselves on this website

Cue response of some dry/unoriginal gif/image copy and pasted from reddit.

In that time United has won 5 premier leagues, 2 league cups, a champion league and a club world cup.
But I'd take one FA Cup in that time over all of that!

And still winning nothing for the last 10 years.

So Wenger gets another 9 years then?

Hopefully!

Back on topic, will the next united manager also get a six year contract? #TraditionAndHistory

The poor guy probably will end up with a contract like Abramovich gives at Chelski. Win the EPL, FA Cup, Qualify for the Champions League and win it within 2 seasons or be terminated. You know, nothing with too much pressure attached.

I think it is the prudent thing to do. Same length of contract that Wenger has just signed :P

I think if anything Van Gaal, win or lose, will be entertaining, is able to regenerate the squad and set in place a good tactical system that will be the base for future triumph (as he has done at most of his previous clubs)

Telegraph reckons he'll command at least 60% possession.

I'm very excited at the prospect indeed

Promising signs re: Shaw and Kroos transfers.
I still think Kroos will stay at Bayern (why would anyone leave there) and we should focus on getting Strootman

Permalink Permalink

Rumours: Giggs told Moyes not to sign Alcantara when the deal was basically done, a lot of the top players in the Bundesliga seem to be linked with a move (daily mail saying Kroos is a done deal for £20m) and the board prepared to spend £150m-£200m. Huge changes this offseason, if some players are sold off MU could be spending more than £200m bringing players in.

Moyes Out of Control! Questioned by cops following fracas in 'upmarket' Clitheroe wine bar. Allegedly slugged his 23 yr-old tormentor with a wine bottle.

I reckon this window will be quite a tough one to trade in due to World Cup. I would like to see some deals announced before it kicks off but squads are in training camps now.

How much sway did he actually have at the club. Thought his sons were the real power brokers there?

Media associations with so many players - no great surprise given the circumstances; but I hope some serious deal-making is quietly being done.

It is getting silly now. With all the rumours in the last week or so we have enough players to field two teams.

If its ahy consolation, we're having the same things at QPR. Weve been linked to half the players at the World Cup.

What do utd fans think of Ander Herrera who looks like a done deal.My opinion without having seen him play much is that while probably not as good as Kroos,Vidal or Pogba he looks a definite improvement on what we had last year and a step in the right direction.

To be fair, anyone at the moment is better than we have.

I have watched him a few times and he is pretty good.

Seem like good signings on the face of it

A lot of money though, so some risk there.

Know nothing about Herrera but Shaw certainly looks very good.

34mill for Shaw, I'm not convinced any left back in the world let alone an 18 year old with 60 league appearances is quite worth that much amount of money. Would rather Robben or a world class centre back to replace Nemanja and Rio. Evans Smalling and Jones are unconvincing for me.

I agree. I thought that against C Rica he was one of the better players, however at that sort of money I would not have paid out  that muck and would have got  at least as good a player for a third of the price. Other clubs will now shy away from English players and  go for a much cheaper import.
