I have not signed up for Coliseum yet but I certainly will be. I'm on Tcom so get some free cap and a discount YAY

I've got Sky and Sommet Sports on Freeview UHF so definitely won't bother forking out an extra $150 for Coliseum when I'll will be able to see ALL of Arsenal, Man City's, Spurs, Chelsea, Man Utd (and one other club to be announced by Sky)  EPL games delayed on Sky, Sommet Sports or TV One, plus all European games, FA Cup and League Cup matches of four EPL clubs on Sky.
Sky seems worth sticking with to me now, considering I'll also be able to watch the Phoenix and the A-League plus All Whites and Champions League (including heaps of qualifiers this month on ESPN), international pre-season club friendlies (ESPN), Brazil world tour (ESPN) etc.

I get Sky Sport half-price through Vodafone with my phone and internet.

I prefer watching the Phoenix to EPL etc. anyway since I consider it more "my team" (even though I live in Christchurch).

So, it's Sky and Sommet Sports for me !!!

Same here Pete, between Arsenal, internationals, A League, Champions League plus other stuff on Sky/ESPN and Bundesliga and Championship on Sommet I am all good, no need for me to spend more money again, time shifting with My Sky suits me fine.

Paul: Arsenal player sounds like it offers an amazing package with all that content and games albeit delayed for free!!

The are ridiculous rumours of Luka Modric, seems like things have gone so cold the newspapers are even more than ever just throwing random names out there.

Cazorla was pretty easy.

I've made peace with the fact we wont sign anyone and sneak into the top 4 on the last day again.

I see what you mean but why should we have to accept it??

Wenger is correct about the proposed Bale fee and the FFP situation.

He'll still get abused for it, mind.

I reckon if WBA get Kalou and Lugano (I'd hoped we signed Lugano back in 2009) they have had a pretty good transfer window. Napoli also seem to have done pretty well. Us and the chq book champs less so:)

Yes and no. There is probably moral and political reasons any of us might gravely consider who or what we support/endorse.

Anyone else watch that last night?
The first 60 minutes told me that we need a DMF, bad - far more than a striker or a keeper or a winger or anything else. Sitting deepest in a midfield three is not where Wilshere should be, he was a weak link there, they just poured through when they got the ball.

When Arteta came on in that spot he made a huge difference. He was not always a DMF but there's no doubting he's a bloody good one now.

Gnabry was poor. Actually looked a little tired, as did  a few others - I wonder if they're a little fatigued after all the hard training and the asian tour. Both conceded goals were thanks to errors, but we did well to fight back and draw, and we had the majority of possession throughout. Was good to see Koscielny comfortably slotting higuain into his pocket the minute he came into the game - kosc really is quality.

Giroud going well. I think the OX is going to have a top season.

No question DM , then CB are the two positions urgently requiring investment.

Not to sound like Arsene but our squad is really pretty good as it is, if we can just get a DMF and some defensive back-up I'd not be too concerned. Am getting wrapped  up in this striker shenanigans when it really shouldn't be a priority.

This is a decent piece too;

Girouds bicycle kick was class!

I disagree, I think we badly need another ready-to-go, class striker. Just having Giroud to play upfront is simply not good enough.

I'd love one. But if we got one and bought nobody else, I'd say that's  a massive mistake in prioritisation. DMF is surely our biggest area of need - we only have one and he's only been converted that position out of necessity. He's awesome there, but we're really poor when he's absent. The the 2011/12 season told us that - we only won one game without Arteta in the whole season. Not sure about last season's numbers but he was rarely injured. I guess in reality we need both a DMF and a striker, we shouldn't have to choose between the two.

Old Man Drogba, what a bastard he's been to us.

looks like Gerv and Cham on the loose, Roma and Palace respectively. Word on Bendy looks less promising.

Do you start him then? Or give him a chance at redemption? I mean if no one will take him, and he's still on the books, might as well offer him the chance to play football and put his ego aside.

That doesn't mean he'll take it, but he could do worse by proving he's not as big a bell end as we think and scoring us some goals.

I thought he said he'd never play for us again.

Not sure how an amicable solution can be found. Make him Captain of the Leauge Cup side??

Time to cut losses and negotiate to pay him out I reckon. Not doing anything for us moping round the training pitch.

The problem is if we release him we have to pay him out for the remainder of his contract. so he's going to cost us whatever happens if he stays. Need to loan or sell him fast.

Surely he realises he wont get offers better than the ones he got this window by hiding at our training ground and collecting a pay check for the next 12 months.

Just got mine as well. What a nightmare that was. Have ended up in block 134 row 6 which is the upper tier on about halfway on the dugout side.

Have you done that through travel companies or do you have good contacts? Im considering getting one when they go on sale to Red Members tomorrow but my funds are looking a bit limited.

Arsenal NZ Fan Club. It's officially affiliated with the club, which means you can apply through them for tickets, which I think is a sterling effort on behalf of the club to ensure travelling fans can get access to games!

Interesting that we're trialling guys in the 20-21 age bracket.

Interesting indeed. The DMF role is an interesting one. Ramsey played it to good effect last year, but Arteta is still our best player there. This kid would be more competition to Coquellin/Frimpong...which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

I'm still dreaming about De Rossi haha.
