Champion work on avoiding results there AJC, you seem to be very good at that, I don't know how you do it!
Sometimes I go insane just watching an hour or two delayed... my nerves aint cut out for it!
Also good our fans didn't boo us off the field
Must suck to spend all that coin to play the sharktest football in the Leauge.

That's actually really well done. Here's a paste for those who didn't read it;
"An Arsenal supporter is eagerly anticipating getting stuck in to his heroes, Back of the Net can reveal...
Arsenal fan Danny Greenwood has spoken of his excitement at finally being able to boo his favourite footballers again.
With the new season just hours away, Greenwood and thousands of his fellow season-ticket holders are eagerly gearing up for another year of criticising his team’s players and undermining their confidence at every turn.
The Camden resident said: “The the only thing I love more than Arsenal winning is Olivier Giroud shanking a volley towards the corner flag, allowing me to unleash a volley of phlegm-speckled rage at him and his worthless parents.
“Booing the lads in pre-season just isn’t the same. You can tell it doesn’t affect them as much when the stakes aren’t as high, so you almost feel you’re wasting your time. Hopefully we’ll concede early doors on Sunday and we can all round on Hector Bellerin. He’s only 20, so with any luck he should crumble pretty quickly.”
Greenwood added that he had not yet decided which of Arsenal’s players would bear the brunt of his chesty derision, but he had particular hopes for Danny Welbeck.
“Welbz [Danny Welbeck] has so much potential, but if we get under his skin I can see easily see him becoming another Andrey Arshavin,” said the 34-year old claims adjuster.
“It won’t happen by itself, though. It needs people like me to groan whenever he’s brought on as a sub, or cheer ironically every time he completes a pass. It doesn’t finish at the final whistle, either. If you’re not sending players abuse on social media long into the night, you’re not a real Arsenal fan.
“It’s been a long, long summer, but I can’t wait to get out there and show the lads how little they mean to me.”
Nice finish from Campbell, though the dummy in the shorts thing is a bit weird! He doesn't really get involved enough but as I said before, he's done as well as could be expected for a 5th/6th choice winger. Couple of goals, an assist though did miss that awful sitter in a game we lost. Useful squad option for times like these.
Campbell seems to go good game, bad game, good game, etc.
West Brom: shocker
Zagreb: best game so far
Norwich: poor
Sunderland: decent
Maybe it's a home v away thing? Hopefully he breaks the trend against Olympiacos!

Smells just like the Daily Mash.
How old is Leggy? Is he 12 or 72?

He was good against Swansea away.
Three for me, and two for them.

Good shout, I'd forgotten about that.

Been yarning to the missus about it this morn. We're pretty poor right now, just went through the whole sprogs process (1x 3yo, 1x 2yo, and last one due in Feb), been on one income for what seems like an age... so my initial horror turned to joy when I saw that Arsenal aren't coming until 2017. Reckon that might be just enough time to have enough cash for the lot of us to go over - I'll probably be the only one to actually go to the games though. My partner has a sister in Sydney so has been wanting to go there anyway.
Actual excerpt from our email convo this morn;
"At these pre-season tours you can go to big signing events etc where you can get close to them... omg I will probably try to touch them... can you imagine me...
"
Yeah having just done our big holiday to the US we couldn't have done it in 2016 either. Should be a realistic goal for 2017 if it gets confirmed. Being a non Euro/World Cup year you'd think most of the squad would be involved too.

It's a long way away but if a few people from in here end up going then I reckon there has to be some sort of get together
Agree completely - I know I have two mates who will def be keen but would love to go as a wider group too.
Amazing news. Perfect timing for me too given that I'm hoping to be in the UK next year it would have been just my luck to have missed them coming down under. As I'm the only gooner in my close family and friends I'd be keen to do a group tour sort of thing rather than go on my own.
As an aside I went to Auckland Dressmart over the weekend not expecting to spend much but the Puma store had a display of Arsenal stuff with 40% off. So I ended up getting a t shirt, training top, the puffer jacket you see some of the staff wearing on the bench and a backpack. Been looking at the jacket and t shirts in the sports shop at Outlet City in Tawa but they never seem to discount supporters gear.
So if you see someone around Lambton Quay / Featherston Street with Arsenal and Phoenix bag (1 for work, 1 for gym) that will be me!
Good score AJC - I went to the Puma outlet at DFO in Brissy and they only had the white tracky top... was cheap but I prefer the red one I've got... was in Auckland today too and drove past One Hunga... what an epic fail!!!

I should have posted that yesterday then. Although Football Central's deal of the week is 30% off Puma Arsenal gear for the next 2 days (email earlier this evening).
All over the Seed-knee trip. Pink ticket secured from the Mussis. Unlike my brother Gooner paulm, I may leave the family at home and get rather jolly for 5 days. A tip of the hat to the Lord of Norf Laandin, Tony Adams.
I actually met Tony Adams outside a hotel in Bologna once. When I say met him I was staring at him with an absolutely idiotic grin as he veered out onto the road to walk around my gurning mug. He probably hadn't looked that scared and nervous since he was inside the Big House.

Will look out fer ye - I work on Featherston St. I cycle to work so hit the showers upon arrival and always dry off with my Arsenal towel. Bit awkward if you pop down into the basement to 'spot my towel' I guess. Especially if I'm using it.
There is another Gooner in the changing sheds - always has a playing jersey, shirt etc on. Not sure how he's not seen my Gooner towel (it rarely heads home for wash...very Sp*rs like of me I know!!) but anyways the other day I asked him what he thought of the season so far. We were all clothed so I thought it was safe to converse but he fair filled his pants and didn't have any Arsenal chat to speak of. There is a good Gooner on me floor though so catch up with him on Arsenal goings on quite often.
ajc28...not a Big Bank employee by any chance...? Crikey, you're not actually the guy on me floor are you?

Yea to be fair I'm a bit jealous after learning of your plan.
The missus has been wanting to visit her sister in Sydney with our kids for ages and I've been putting up the financial barrier. Funny how that's suddenly no longer a problem when this Arsenal visit gets announced hahahahahaha

This is becoming a pattern for you after the Ewen Chatfield incident!

Thanks for the heads up, have to pop in today for 'work' purposes, will keep an eye out.
