SonderjyskE lose 0-3, but still stay atop the league for now. Next for them Eli Just's Horsens.

Wilkins straight into the starting lineup at LB as SonderjyskE (1st) win 4-1 at Eli Just's Horsens (8th). Result condemns Horsens to the Bottom 6, when league splits after next weekend.
https://us.soccerway.com/matches/2024/03/09/denmark/1st-division/ac-horsens/sonderjyske/4084521/

Wilkins off at 73 mins (3-1) & Just off the subs bench at 59 mins (1-3) for Horsens.

Mods please update Wilkins's club.
McGarry missed Dons game overnight (jnjured again?) so timely return for Wilkins re AWs naming.

Takes SønderjyskE top for now with a comprehensive performance.

Really positive debut for Wilkins at LB too by the sound of it. His stats made for some excellent reading.

Contrasting fortunes for want away Elijah Just, whose AC Horsens outfit will contest the relegation phase. Hopefully he gets his move to Sweden, because there has been nothing positive for them so far this season having been relegated last year.

Mods please update Wilkins club details.

Guys can we update this guys club pls. He has been there a while now, is potentially going to get promoted to the danish top league and really should be in the All Whites squad over Ingham.

Needs all the press he can get for our All Whites coach and definitely the team name so he knows who he plays for

Ingham was Newcastles player of the year last year... maybe deserves a little more credit for his selection.

That selection was overwhelmingly derided by Jets fans

No Wilkins in match day squad. Mods can you update his club.

Wilkins starting (as a LB). SonderjyskE lead 1-0 at HT.

Wilkins off at 63 mins (2-0), in a 2-0 win.

Put SonderjyskE (2nd) down as being in the Danish SuperLiga next season. The top 2 teams are promoted, and they are 17 points clear of 3rd (Wilkins old club Kolding) with only 7 games left.

So next season he'll be the 3rd of 3 Ole/Helsingor amigos (alongside Just & McCowatt) to play in the Danish top flight. Him being a bit more the tortoise, with his bad knee injury likely putting his career projection back a few seasons.

Mods - Have I mentioned his club needs updating?

Wilkins full game in a 0-0 draw.

SønderjyskE 17 pts clear of 3rd (top 2 are promoted) with 6 games left. So they could be confirmed as promoted to next year's Danish Superliga, as soon as next weekend.

Back to back promotions for Wilkins who was playing in the Danish 3rd tier last season with old club Kolding. Though a bit fortunate this time, joining up with SønderjyskE for the 2nd half of the season when they were already in a strong position.

Promotion all but secured now with a 3-0 win over his old club Kolding IF. SønderjyskE are 15 points clear of third with 5 games to play, and they've got a +35 goal difference on Fredericia.

SønderjyskE do move three points clear at the top  thanks to Aalborg's defeat at Fredericia this morning as well.

Good little run of form for Wilkins in his last 3 outings too.

Logged 73' this morning and picked up a yellow card for his troubles.

The Danish Superliga is within touching distance for Wilkins & SønderjyskE - We're just not there yet.

Does that put him into the RB debate or does he not see himself on that side? Should in theory, though maybe not in practice, be pushing Libby for a start at LB, if he’s starting in a top league v Libby a sub role in Serie A.

Started the season in the 2nd tier with Kolding at RB. But I think since he's been at SonderjyskE from mid season, he's been on the left (where he's playing tonight).

One of the many in contention to be Libby's lieutenant. Last window in March it was LK-H. Though invariably none of them play much, as Cacace is rarely subbed off for the AWs.

If Empoli go down (50/50 at the moment, Libby may need to bypass next months's OFC Nations Cup, to sort out his club future. I doubt he will want to go down to Serie B.

Edit - Wilkins full game in a 1-0 win.
AaB still odds on to be promoted with SonderjyskE. AaB just need 1 point from their remaining 3 games.

No Wilkins as promoted SonderjyskE finish season with a 1-1 draw. Wilkins missing both the final games

Either injured or allowed to maybe leave early for a NZ holiday? Chance of a Nations Cup callup, if Empoli say Libby needs a rest

As with Garbett be interesting to see how Wilkins goes in a Low Country top flight league

Damp squib. Both Kiwis absent.
Silkeborg a 1-0 win.

FYI - both starting full backs for SonderiyskeE were at the club last season. So hopefully that's a sign they haven't recruited anyone new there, noting Wilkins can play both flanks.
