12 month loan confirmed. http://www.footballaustralia.com.au/centralcoastmariners/news-display/LOANS-McGlinchey-to-Sendai-Ibini-back-at-CCM/81555
Im sure they are hoping he impresses so they can get a good transfer fee for him
http://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/football/9549373/McGlinchey-joins-former-coach-in-Japan
Two more games for CCM before he's off to Japan till next December on loan. Mentions Vegalta Sendai are paying CCM a $70,000 loan fee - guess they will pay McGlinchey his wages on top of that.
CCM are getting Bernie Ibini back on loan from China for $65,000. So financially, CCM just save on McGlinchey's wages.
In my opinion makes the A-League look Mickey Mouse. No serious football league has the champion club allowing its best players out on loan mid-way through the season (especially when they're struggling for results as CCM currently are).
Letting Daniel McBreen go on loan to China and returning several games into the season has stuffed things up for them too - he now looks ineffective & isn't scoring.
Good move for McGlinchey - bad for CCM fans.
I was enjoying seeing McGlinchey and Roux on the tele too.

CCM owners are motivated by $$$. All their moves are around money. It's why they sell and loan out their players.

I see Vegalta Sendai's first game is against Albirex Niigata (Fitzgerald's J-League side). Will be interesting to see if Arnold and McGlinchey make a difference to Sendai this year, as they finished 13th last year.
http://www.j-league.or.jp/
J-League kicks off today, with Wee Mac's Sendai hosting Fitzgerald's Niigata at 6pm.
Listed in the starting XI.
Kicks off at 6pm - http://gofirstrow.eu/watch/243260/1/watch-vegalta-sendai-vs-albirex-niigata.html
Lost 1-2. Not sure how many English websites follow the J-League, so maybe Detoxin might be able to help out finding out how he went.
McGlinchey played 69 minutes. Fitzgerald got concussed early in the second half and had to come off - only played 49 minutes.
Kashima Antlers v Vegalta Sendai is live on TAB Watch & Bet at 11pm Saturday night
2-0 loss tonight, Wee Mac came on as a 2nd half sub for the last 20ish minutes.
Played 90 minutes tonight in a 4-0 loss. They are under a bit of pressure now

Graham Arnold has been sacked by Vegalta Sendai were does that leave Mcglinchey .
Graham Arnold has been sacked by Vegalta Sendai were does that leave Mcglinchey .
Leaves McGlinchey as one of the few players under 30 at the club. Increases his chances of staying.
Arnold wasn't sacked - he initiated the discussions which lead to him leaving "by mutual consent" - he was unhappy at several issues surrounding the team such as the majority of players being over 30 and not being able to build the team he wanted.
"Arnold said he was not happy with the fact that 17 players in his squad were over the age of 30 and that he felt his hands were tied when it came to bringing in new players.
"I told the president directly that I wasn't happy with the age of the squad, with the fact that we hadn't been able to make a lot of change and that many of the older players were resistant to change," Arnold told SBS. "I told the president I felt as if I was coaching someone else's team and in the end I have my standards to uphold. I left the meeting for them to discuss the direction of the club and they said they needed to consider the sponsors and supporters and I understand that."
Arnold, who was the first Australian-born coach to ever coach in the J-League, said he had no regrets.
"In the end it was genuinely a decision that we arrived at together," he said. "Things weren't working with the changes we'd liked to have made and we agreed to part ways. Despite the way things ended I walk away with my head held high and I feel I've become a better coach and a better person. I've got no regrets and I enjoyed every minute of the experience."

Seems like a club in freefall and Arnold walked because he couldn't do much to change things, having no ability to change the poor squad he inherited.
McGlinchey must be struggling in a directionless team now his mentor Arnold has gone.
Probably better off out of there.
Whose the manager now? Some temporary guy?
