Cricket was great. First few overs into the tui stand, hour of rain, then off to friends house.get tipsy, play some risk, head back the cricket and have a good laugh. Good times all round

Said he didn't want to play for us but I know what you mean. Vettori had a shocker I also felt that when we were batting he should of brought on Southee and Mills ahead of himself as they are bigger hitters and Vettori didn't have time to get his eye in.

Said he didn't want to play for us but I know what you mean. Vettori had a shocker I also felt that when we were batting he should of brought on Southee and Mills ahead of himself as they are bigger hitters and Vettori didn't have time to get his eye in.
Bondy wants nothing more than to play for his nation, its just he signed a three year contract with his ICL team without understanding the consequences and being a man of his word, he is not about to renege on that. I think the ICC are working to allow ICL players to be allowed to play for their country but a lot of stuff needs to be worked out.
Vettori bowled immaculately last night, the only issue was the desicion to bowl Jeets with a slippery, wet ball in the 2nd last over. Surely Jakey wouldve been a better option, he is one of the truely economic bowlers in world cricket. Even Elliot could've been worth a go earlier on in the innings. Don't think there was too much wrong in the bowling, our batting was pretty poor though. Hope it was just an anomoly, cos that team has so much talent.

Bondy wouldn't be playing test cricket either, he had decided to give it up after coming back from Africa and was only ever going to play ODIs.
Jumping down Vettoris throat for last night is pretty tough, the decision to bowl Patel was bad but Jeets also has to take some responsibility, he should have realised how bad the ball was going to be to grip but in saying that Dan should have realised aswell. Ahh fuk it, he made a f**k up but all skippers do.
As for the Aussies, Ponting is a bad captain, look at the times Australia under him have come up against teams that were genuinely on top of there game. England 05, India last summer and this year and Africa this year. They have been done (India last summer they should have lost) when competing against teams on an equal footing.
Does anyone know where we are going this winter? Would not surprise me at all to see Kane Williamson from ND go on that tour, racking up some impressive numbers domestically and seems to have talent to burn.
