The worst thing is when players see a hint of green in it + a lot of grass and instantly think it's going to seam around everywhere which is not always the case. There are plenty of factors to consider that can make it green[ish]. The players getting carried away with pitch hype is one thing but the media are bunnies. A little info is often to much.

Wow Aussie falling apart again. I flick over and watch some Real World (oh yes) and come back and they have lost 5 wickets. And so it continues.

Brilliant isn't it. Now I'm torn between some much needed sleep and watching the boofheads getting beaten again. This is really tough for me.

I would much rather watch 20/20 than test match.

I'll be there tomorrow. Make the most of the rara chance we get to see test match cricket in the country. Not getting a five day pass, because it might be three days again!

I just want to add my hatred of Twenty/20s...I refuse to work for the WACA when that sh*t game is on as well. My boycott goes as far as not caring whether WA or Australia win the games...

Shot selection (or lack thereof in McCullum's case) - 4 caught behind, waving the bat outside off.  They could be batting on ^ with only the keeper and the bowler in the field and they'd still be where they are!

vettori - it's all his fault - yesterday he's like "I dunno if we'd bat first or bowl"......today- "yeah we'll bat" I'm sorry what??? your batting is under scrutiny it's fragile at best, surely you'd give your bowlers the best chance to get wickets....tomorrow it will be the best batting deck ever and we've spent all day today looking like morons.

Nah mate, you'd be a fool not to bat on it first, it's as dry as we've ever had a test wicket going into kick off and very flat. Think of the dismissals, mostly poor shot selection and a few good deliveries.

The other factor being the windiest day was meant to be today which is sh*thouse to bowl in.

I'm very suspicious about the Pakistanis saying they would have bowled first. I think that's just gamesmanship, saying they're exactly where they want to be - they didn't look like they wanted to be out there at all sometimes and they still managed to take six scalps.

We needed to post a big total and put the pressure on Pakistan to score runs. Our batsmen failed again.

Ah good times, got a mate with a deloitte (SP) lounge ticket so looks like I won't be paying NZC a cent :D

Went to see some mates on the bank and on my way back had to wait at the sight screen until the end of the over. I turned to watch the last ball and I heard this from behind me "anyone with a brain would sit down to watch the cricket" in a f**kin rude tone...so I turned to look at him and realised it was the grimiest human on this planet. I was fired up by what he said but when I realised it was him I saw red and said "coming from you...you are a f**kin disgrace to all NZ cricket fans, you filthy c**t, get f**ked" and then carried on my way. He was saying something back but couldn't hear what it was amongst all the people laughing around me. His mate was firing abuse at me too [yeah he actually had two mates with him - must be scum too]

We were sitting just behind him, next to the matress dudes. They were doing it all afternoon to people that were waiting to cross. By the end of the day people around us were abusing and laughing at them. Best moment was when some fella was waiting to cross, he started getting yelled at by the creeps and just stood there oblivious to their yells. He got a good round of applause at the end of the over.

Anyway, it was a good day, got a bit burnt but still good. Probably watch on tele tomorrow and come back Monday or Tuesday.

A sensible person would have found somewhere better to sit but the creep just wants to get on TV.
