Can the team that doesnt train and doesnt warm up go all the way?
Shows what a bit of experience can do. The game doesn't have to be played at a millon miles an hour.
But just as well they can't go up with a name like the "Dreamers". Unless of course the dropping of the Waterside from Waterside Karori for all teams below the 1st is a cunning plan to get 2 teams in Prems. So next year there can be a Waterside and a Karori in Premier. Brilliant forward thinking Wharfies, or whatever you're called, you've out-trumped Wests with their sunday clause.

Olympic lose 3-2 after being 3 nil down. The game was very poor from start to finish. Olympic are now 3rd place, however Marist v Karori next week so that should be interesting.

Just like to comment on this, the game was "very poor.".. not likely.
We played Olympic off the park in the first 60 minutes. And Olympic threw everything at us in the last 30. Highly entertaining, and a totally fair result. Was a bit sad, that only the manager stayed behind to comment, as I thought it was played in really good spirits.

Mate the game was poor. Im a strong supported of Olympic but that wasnt football out there. We gifted you two goals. And one goal (the header) you guyes took extremely well with a great cross and a great finish. We missed some great chances as well. But in general there was no great football at all. You guyes domindated completely first half. 2nd half was dominated more by Olympic. I would say you guyes deserved the win. 1st half Olympic could not string a pass, and that was the same for you guyes 2nd half. I believe that the pitch was terrible (hence why the womans game today was transferred, dont ask me why yesterdays game wasnt), but there is no excuse for miss kicks, and constantly poor touches. Both Marist and Olympic are capable of much more, but in general the game was poor. As for saying "we played you off the park", I think the boys gave you the game. Congrats on the win. Hopefully Olympic step up next week and grab a win so they can playoff against one of the champs premier teams.
All I have to say is that from Cap 1 to Champs Premier the step up is significant.

What would happen if the dreamers win the league, since they cant go up would the team that finishes second play off against bottom team (lower hutt). Or if dreamers finish second, would the team that wins the league go up and lower hutt goes straight down, no playoff?

Olympic played the most open, attacking, passing football out of those three. Which is something our team of youngsters was better at dealing with than the more direct, combative style of the other two.
That's not saying that Marist and Karori don't knock the ball around a bit, but not nearly so much as the Greeks.
The more direct style of the Dreamers and Marist much better suits the conditions too. We were lucky to play the Greeks first up on Petone 1 when it was in mint nick, and then in the return game at Newtown Park when that was still reasonable. So that helped the football. By comparison we played Karori and Marist on Karori 1 and Kilbirnie Park respectively.

Sorry feverish, it wont be this weekend, both 1st and 2nd team are heavily depleated by injury and 3 susspensions between the 2 teams.
but if your reserve team wins the league after a win this weekend against marist then you never know, you might just see afew changes to the squad for next weekends game. The squad that does play this weekend against tawa will be going all out for a victory tho.
