Talk us through that result Roy?

Word on my street is you missed a sitter from two yards...?

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Up 2-0 lost 3-2 and everyone looks at the strikers.

Great goals in secong half from stop out and yes I missed a strike in a very crowded goal box.

We made changes to kick on to win and didn't but full credit to stop out for coming back.

Further on Miramar/Stop Out.
David Batty is good player isn't he?
Stop Out's second and third goal were both great headers.  Particular for the third goal.

p.s. I heard a Miramar supporter trying to say that Stop Out had gone to a long ball game. They hadn't. Two headed goals do not a long ball game make!
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

It's not looking good for Naenae. Look for Wests and Lower Hutt to pick up enough points to avoid the bottom spot and battle for the relegation playoff spot. Marist better hope they win Cap1 or they got no chance in a playoff if they come 2nd.

The beauties of playoff footy. Will West and LH be dropping players though, with them both wanting to win the League?

Not really time to drop players, then Harrahap is off overseas too...

With about 4 games to go Wests will have the title sewn up leaving both teams plenty of time to regrade enough players to get them through relegation. Watch for results this week as both CL teams don't have games.

Is there any list on the top goal scorers for the prem league?

Could people feom their respective clubs give approximate totals for their top goal scorers?

Le Prou, Henders, Sutherland, Withers, Raemaekers, Hill

Who is topping the list?

I agree that both teams will look to ensure survival, but Hutt have Taranaki this weekend on the Sunday so not this week for them.  They still have an outside chance to win, but if the first team lose points, the 2nd team will become strong quite suickly

Mikey Raemakers and Pete Withers have 11 each (I think)

Damn it. My Researchers have let me down. I thought Lower Hutt weren't playing and  therefore I had picked Lower Hutt to beat Tawa in my virtual picks. Therefore I would like  it to be known that I'm changing my pick from LH 1-2 to Tawa 13+.

Are you basing that on last weeks form?

Correct. LH are rubbish and Tawa is the best team I've seen this year. They've got a good group of players who have been together for a few years ard they play a nice simple passing game which has the potential to open teams up like a cheap $2 hooker. If tawa are up a couple at half time and then score early in the 2nd, it could be a cricket score as the young LH lads tend to drop thier heads once the game is gone.
By the way I think Jared Putt from KCU has 10 goals this year. 5 against LH.

Cracking game at Naenae Park this afternoon with Upper Hutt coming back from 0-1 and 2-3 down to win 4-3 - that after Naenae scored in the 2 mins either side of half time to turn a 1-2 deficit into a 3-2 lead.

Naenae were decimated by injuries, flu and hairdressing appointments but were unlucky not to get a point.  Their heads seem to go down when UH equalized at 3-3 and they were struggling to get back into the game at 3-4....but did create several late chances.

Upper Hutt were the more cohesive unit, organized in defence and they seemed to be able to split the makeshift Naenae defence at will in the 2nd half....

Great game and well played both teams in tough underfoot conditions.  Torn to my allegiances here having played junior footie (badly) for both these clubs in my days as a twiglet whippersnapper.....ahhh the dusty memories!!!

Big game for Naenae next Sat vs Lower Hutt at Bell....good luck boys and heres to an overdue Henders hattrick!!
