I cant believe this isnt being broadcast live on the tele. They shouldve just played it in the Rapa in that case. Huge fail on NZFs part that they couldnt lock in a spot for this.

So who's confirmed as going to the final? I'll be there. Theres apparently multiple busloads of supporters coming from Napier and Masterton as well as Palmy locals. Should be a great atmosphere.

I am heading up from Wgtn with five Marist numpties. It should be a rip-snorter of a game in front of a bumper turnout.

Weather is looking good, which will add a few more to the boisterous crowd.

Palmy - Sunday 28 Aug

MAX 14C
MIN 7C
Cloudy at times. Northwesterlies.
Issued: 10:51pm 26 Aug

Mon the 'Rapa!

Could not agree more !

Please join me in emailing NZF my disgust at their failing  to get the Premier domestic football game live on tv,( which I have just done). Cant even see a replay time anywhere !

if you go to www.nzfootball.co.nz and search for 'contacts' you can send an email articulating your displeasure. Please do as the same will happen next year, ( unless of course its two Aukalofa teams in the final )

Grrr...

All quiet in Palmy.

Would have thought they could at least provide a live stream.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Absolute disgrace on NZF part not showing a Chatham Cup Final live.
So much for putting into good use the money earned from World Cup qualification.
A massive fail on NZF part this. You really should be so ashamed of yourselves.
No wonder we cant grow and progress Football in this country.

Oh f**k how I would have loved to have tuned in from here in Sydney, had a final of our own to go to & now APIA V Marconi but my iPhone would only tune to radio sport CH-CH or Auckland.

:(

Glad the wrapa won either way, much needed funds coming their way I hope.

Scott Robson was very good. Surprised me as i didnt think he was that good. Maybe centre back is a good position for him.

All the goals shown on TV 1 using voice over from Radio Sport. Glenfield Rovers won the Women's KO Cup for the first time defeating Coastal Spirit 3 - nil.

Congratulations to the mighty Rapa! Hopefully their council will now take footy seriously enough to find them a home ground.

Very entertaining and exciting game dished up for the noisy 3,000+ crowd. I do not understand why Sky TV would snub one of NZ's oldest sporting trophies?

Sky didn't cover the game because they lacked cameras in the region, apparently due to rugby commitments.

Very very poor, but not surprising for a corporation with some a vested interest in rugby.

Write to them to express your frustration.

I have just fired off an irate email to sky. Hopefully a few others will do the same ...

Anyway, here are the match highlights
