Was told that both players received a yellow for dissent and then carried it on with the ref who then issue two straight reds. Was just before the break and Western were 3 or 4 up.

FC coaching staff may be happy that they have the bye in the next round.

Anyone know what’s happening with FC? 2 red cards in 2 minutes today and back to back 9-0 defeats, @Sam Coughlan any comments on the results or red cards at least? Understandable if you don’t want to!

All I'll say is that the intel is right, there were two double-yellows for dissent and another sin bin.

A 6-1 win last week, so not all doom and gloom.

No CPL these coming weekend due to Chatham Cup, with CPL teams involved as follows, with games being played at 2pm on Friday - ANZAC Day:

Intresting how  the reserve teams are doing much better than the first teams, except for Halswell

What’s the criteria for a CCL team to get promoted to the CPL? Do they have to win the CCL? Or can they still be promoted if they get second, as long as a team who gets first can’t move up (club already has a team in the CPL). I imagine Coastal U20’s will be pushing for promotion.

Im not sure, what would happen aswell If Selwyn got relegated and Selwyn Reserves stay up? Do they both play in the same league?

Clubs are only allowed one team in the CPL, so the Selwyn Reserves would be relegated if the Selwyn first team comes down.
