The two teams involved Miramar and KCU did not play on the pitch allocated by Capital Football. As per the CF regulations the home team had a default recorded against them i.e. a 0-2 loss.
Miramar appealed to NZF who ruled that the game be treated as being abandoned.

NZF did not direct that the game had to be replayed and therefore it won' be.

That is what the table reflects.
From all acounts today as capital one was not a finished compertition Naenae dropped a few more than normal to the final of another grade. Correct or incorrect.

The actual rule "When a relevant .... team has completed their competition" so even though the grade may have not finished, if the team has it can't regrade down"
The rule also just relates to Central, Capital Premier or Womens' Premier teams.

Capital 1 down, no more than three players can be regraded into any one team for any one game. For the Cup competition games, players are supposed to be "cup-tied"

I am not sure if this has been addressed in another topic but can Capital Football please explain what is happening with the Junior 12th Grade JPL sides for next season. I understand the coach is required to hold a Youth Level 2. Is there any other new criteria for coaches, players and rules/regulations? Cheers.

Can you define Cup Tied regarding Cup games?

As per CF Regulations:-

11 5) Players cannot play in more than one Cup competition (including the Kelly Cup) i.e. players are Cup tied.

Ah.  So, U-21 players (as an example) who don't play a cup wouldn't be cup tied and could play in the Cup competition for Capital 13/14.

Junior 12th grade JPL will be run the same as last year.
However, there will be some end of season meetings and some changes requested by the clubs could come from there for 2012

The coach will be required to hold a Youth Level 2 qualification.
There are four components to Youth Level 2 and once obtaining Youth Level 1 a coach only needs to get one of those, being the Tactical component.

Effectively yes. If the clubs thought that was appropriate.

Well you were up 3-0 ten minutes into the game, that's a fairly good lead to defend. As for the player situation we had all been re-graded correctly into this team over the last few weeks. So no dramas there. Finished competition rule as said by capital football above only applys to Central League, Premiers and Womans Premier.

Is there anywhere on the capital football website that has all the points tables across the grades? I can find the 10 team league tables but I'm wondering if there is anywhere I can find the first and second half tables for those grades with mid season promotion and final tables before cup competitions?

I have had a look on the CF website but its proving harder to find than a new striker for the 'nix.

Hey just have a quick question. What happens if you get 5 yellows in the 2011 season (1 when filling in for 3rd team in cap 2, 3 in central league and the 5th and final one for the 2nd team in there last game of the season and the central league team had finished for the season).
Is it like the world cup and you don't miss any game for 2012, or miss first Hilton Petone game, or 2nd team game, or central league game or what. Your help would be greatly appreciated .

Cheers

Sons usually tend to get picked in their dad's teams. Look at all junior football and of course Waikato FC.

Capital Football has been using the Yellow Fever website as a forum for anyone to Ask Capital Football about particular information. This will discontinue from 2012.

As part of Capital Football looking at ways of improving communication to club members, a NEW FORUM link has been added to the Capital Football website.

Members can now use this forum to ask Capital Football questions.

Anyone know what the story is with rolling subs in Capital 6 this year?  I heard a rumour that there are going to be refs for all games this year.  Last year it was a bit of a shambles with all teams wanting rolling subs but some refs not allowing them.  Please have mercy on my tired knees and unfit lungs and allow rolling subs if both teams agree!  We all want it!

I would have asked this on the Cap Football website but cant see where to log in and start a new thread.

There should be an option for teams to opt out of having referees below a certain level. Since I believe there is a shortage (I think?) it'd free up Referees for those who actually want one.

Could be a crap idea..who knows.

I tend to agree.  While it is good not to have to worry about supplying a ref, we have as many problems with official refs as we do with opposition refs.  Add to the fact we cant roll subs and we'd probably rather not have them.  If we could roll subs then sure, we'd probably rather have neutral refs, but some of them are terrible (although others are pretty good).  It's not that hard reffing Cap 6, but some of them seem to power trip.

Do you need to go into every division to see scores and then click again to see the table - rather than seeing all results and tables on one page on the old site?? This is dog sht if the case

Island Bay facilities = awesome.

But is it acceptable to schedule evening league games on the second pitch which has no lights on the far side? Played their last year and it was like the black hole of calcutta but with less chance of seeing anything. Piss poor and dangerous for that matter.

My apologies if lights have been added this year.

I'd like to humbly disagree in regards to the changing sheds. Not a single drop of hot water yesterday in the changing rooms - and this was after the games at 12:30, let alone us at 2:30. Cold showers are expected if there have been a few games before hand, but none for anyone just blows

What genius at Capital football decided that 6pm weekday games were a good idea when lot of people work until 5:30-6.
They need to look at rescheduling games to start at 6:30 at least.
