Dunno if anyone else is watching, but South Hobart just took the lead with a MAGNIFICENT bicycle kick, latching on to a corner. Wow!

Oi Oi Edgecumbe... lets have a clean sheet

South Melb now in front after a poor defensive pass gave it away.

There’s some end product. And decisively so! What a goal.

If he can had some finishing to his game, he could have a very good career. Like Piper he’s got questions over him, but if he carries on as he’s started there, he’s guna definitively answer them. Needs to add some less elaborate finishing too- 1 on 1s and flat crosses for starters, but that was impressive.

Randall looks absolutely awesome. Just looks a step quicker this season, and definitely more agile/on-balance with the ball. Stronger too, and extremely combative

I’d picked Randall as a AWs bolter, just as something slightly different to the wide players of similar skills.

But Gillion not given away his chances either.

Still think they are missing Mata up front though.

For those wondering Martinb is referring to Gillion. I’m hoping he has a great season for AFC. I like the guy and think his ‘lack of end product’ can definitely be turned around. That’s what quality coaching and off seasons are for. Only in his 2nd pro season after all

2-2 at 70 mins between VUC and Olympic Kingsway a WA NPL team. OLK are a useful looking side moving the ball around. Same pitch Nix played Glory on

Edit - VUC now in trouble. Rawlins a straight red
Edit 2 - sub Piscopo with a lovely curler saves VUC’s blushes for 3-2
Edit 3 - 93rd min OLK make it 3-3!!
Sadly time for bed

Good chance the Nix meet Auckland in the semis (sadly they would be the home team)

Just
Us vs Auckland in the semi final looking likely
image.png 1.4 MB

Quarters will be tough for both of us if the Sydney A-League teams get through. I'd almost rather we don't play Auckland in the Semi's incase we send them through to the final but beating them to get to the final would be so good too.

Looking a bit far ahead i think. South Melbourne wont be a push over for Auckland then if they get through both teams have tricky quarter finals opposition potentially.

WSW look like the best team so far which is unlucky for us, but I'll still back the Nix even if it's dire.

SM aren't looking too good rn, but Auckland probably don't want to risk playing the reserves like Melb city did. Hopefully their first team is fatigued and we have a fuller squad if we meet them in the semis.

Rigged so it can't be an all NZ final.

Sad.

Three for me, and two for them.

Draw always has been rigged (managed ) so that at least 1 A League side makes the semi finals.

Rigged so it can't be an all NZ final.

Sad.

Also rigged that should Nix and AFC get to the quarters they get the first home FFA cup game in NZ,

Queenslander 3x a year.
