A-Leagues 24/25 - The Other Matches Thread

AFC will absolutely dominate this year. I hope they won't win the comp though, not because they are rivals but because I don't think it's good for any club in their inaugural season to win the league as it takes away that feeling of building towards something. It's that "mission accomplished in year one and then what" kind of feeling.

From what I've seen though, let's not be delusional, there's only 2 teams that are footing it with Auckland at this stage and that's Victory and Adelaide. But AFC are deservedly top and looked more than capable of beating City away from home if it hadn't been for that unlucky back pass they would still be perfect.

Besides that there's a lot of sub par teams this year that are either inconsistent or just absolute no hopers who won't threaten anyone on their way to glory.

Adelaide v Mel City women. Absolutely one dimensional predictable backward looking garbage. Both sides trying to play it out,but rarely get past half way. Duller than dishwasher to watch,, at least there was the City keeper stuff up to laugh at.

One speculative shot/cross and it goes in. I dunno why they piss around with it so much - put the defence and keeper under pressure and you will score 

Sounds like Costa put Sydney on his back and carried them to a 2 goal comeback vs Adelaide last night. Ended 3-3

Reds leading 3 - 1 till 89th min. Veart was exploding on the sideline.

I think we all new Dan Hall was a big loss for the Auckland defence but I don't think anyone predicted Auckland's defence to weaken this badly

Ha ha ha! They really are shiite today. Worst 45 mins I have seen. Terrible defense, nobody tracking back, shockingly poor marking. Vestraete is a statue.....dont play someone not 100% fit. Sakai poor marking for second goal. Nobody home for the third. Expected goals 2.39 to .35.
