All of AFC’s 4 Aussie starters tonight were very good. Brimmer, Brook, Hall and G-R

They don’t recruit Ozzie journeymen

If they avoid many injuries they must be Premiers favourites

Taxing conditions. 40 degrees in Sydney earlier in the day
They are favourites already, I don't trust Uffy at Sydney FC and are already 5 points clear of third (Brisbane).

Golly , that's two reports that fail to mention " Blank Kites " or something similar...the AFC hospitality must be wearing thin ...

On come May, Gallegos, then later Nando and Sakai.

Most stacked bench in the ALM

This are just going to shut down WSW and grind it out from here you’d think

Credit to Woud, he continues to look very sound
Woud is solid, he needed game time and the A-League is his level so could be around for a while.

AFC when they click, will walk this league.

Woud is okay with 2 of the best defenders in the league in front of him, with another on the bench and several top midfielders in front of them. And having had a year to acclimatise to the league.

what I said about Uffy is coming to fruition.

AFC's title to lose.

2-0 to the Jets.

Jets a very attractive team to watch, could have had 4-5.

Have now beaten the top two teams.

Auckland FC, however eating their Christmas turkey top of the table.

Big game after Christmas against Sydney, minus an injured Lolley.

Auckland will rise once more

Jets are great to watch. Attack with intent, good in possession and solid in defence.

Can tell they're playing with confidence.

Day and night to the Nix.

MV grab all the points in the 91st minute courtesy of a Grimaldi rocket into the bottom corner. Couple of huge saves from Jack Duncan.

Thought we were meant to be pissed cause they were rubbish and bottom of the table when we lost to them last week?

against us we created a lot of good chances (16 shots, 10 on target, 5 big chances which we missed 4) and they've conceded the most goals.

It didn't look great for Lolley. He might be out for awhile.

he's an assistant at Victory as he was at WU, neither team have looed great whiole he has been there, not sure if he holds the pro license but he may get away with that as he's an aussie(?)

I'm not one of the give it to Greenacre crowd, he had his chance to apply - he didnt - so I'm guessing he didnt feel ready or want to take the risk

Bunge vs Stott in the ALW Melbourne Derby that just kicked off. No McMeeken, she was seen in a moon boot 10 days ago, so might be out for awhile?

I thought I saw a story on Three News tonight that the Sky blue Bling v Dark blue Bling match was postponed as the pitch at Leichhardt Oval was deemed dangerous.  Was I imagining this?

Well that’s not one Bunge will remember fondly.
