Adelaide open the scoring, so WSW will need to find their scoring boots now.

Jets ladies follow the men's footsteps by losing to the last kick of the match.

I just realised that the double header games had the opposite results. Holly McNamara scored a hattrick in the earlier game for City Women's 3-1 win over Perth and Tom Lawrence scored a hattrick for Perth in their 1-3 win over City. Pretty neat.

Under Griffiths, Perth are looking more and more like the Nix of two years ago.
City were 70% favoured to win.
Perth only had 40% of possession.
Would've had a clean sheet and a 3 nil victory apart from a gross blunder by Sutton (the keeper) at the end.
Two very solid CBs in Wootton and Kaltak.
Going by results, Griffiths is shaping up like a pretty good coach.

Michael Valkanis shown 2 quick yellows on the Roar bench & has been sent off! So the Roar will have a temporary manager for Saturday vs the Nix.
1-1 at HT.

Looks like a really good crowd.  I wonder if there will be a late winner for someone.

Well Brisbane take the lead late.  We are going to need to pull a rabbit out of the hat to get any kind of result against them next year.

Another one we let slip away MOM Salas.

His best games for us were at RWB, which is exactly where the Roar are playing him. Would be foolish to use a visa slot on a back up for Payne.
