Not great keeping for the goal. Doesnt come fully out, is in no man's land when he is lobbed. Many a keeper would have come out faster and dealt with that
Maybe Woud could have done better for that second goal too? Like James' penalty it was some way inside the (near) post and at a reasonable saving height, though yes it was struck very hard and moving very quickly

Well that was fun. AFC to 3rd. Only one win in their last six games??
I think they have two games against Sydney coming up too. This league is too tight to call.

Well done Perth, down to 3rd you go Auckland.
Only two games played there, but for now HBF Park is AFC's AAMI.

Hell of a strike by Kucharski for Glory's 2nd.
And yeah I feel Woud hesitated for the 1st and made it a easier for Glory's first by not committing to coming out

Woud is gonna need some sort of security detail when he’s back in Auckland I reckon. Vicious…

Now that AFC are back in the real world and become another decent team instead of unbeatable, will their crowds drop like everyone else. Jets winning and amazingly are getting bigger crowds.
I wonder how long Oli will be out. That was his golden chance to grab a starting spot for the rest of the season.

How did Canberra NOT score? Saved by the deflection onto the crossbar trick?

Ended 3-1 to Canberra, they retake 2nd position, pushing us down to 6th. Hope our girls can do the business.

CCM down to 10 men. They have a one nil lead. I hope they can hold on.

CCM hold on despite being completely under siege. Gutsy. That takes them off the bottom of the table. Three points behind us.

City vs WSW & Sydney vs Roar in the Dub tonight. Can WSW win two on the bounce and do the Nix a favour?

WSW hold on. A great opporutnity for our women to make the most of it.

A draw perhaps? Bet Woud will play a blinder either way
Very good save by Woud there. 1-0

I dunno.
Eze is fairly good. He can hit a goal from anywhere, any way you like. Nagasawa can pass a ball. Armiento can hit one. Payney in form, is as good as anyone on the flanks there.
I like Rufer a lot better than Verstraete or any Sydney player.
Piper is football joy. Tuiloma, James, Singh and Hughes can match anyone in either team on their day.
Sander is as yet an unknown quantity. Mileusnic has toiled well. Najjarine has mixed opinions, but gets through some work.
Remember both teams and coaches have been through slumps too.
We’ve lacked a cutting edge, having put away Sydney we should have beaten City and I really thought there was something there for us against Victory too.
But I don’t think there’s an enormous gap between us. We’ve just been slow to catch up in the last two games…

This is frustrating to watch, so much energy, both are just much better teams than us.
Personally, I think we are on the whole playing well. The formations suits the personnel we have & no more ridiculously high line. What is frustrating, is the soft goals we are conceding. Take those away and we would be picking up points and moving up the table.

Looks like he just forgot that last miss.
