At 34? Might not be offered anything.

Actually With Carle coming back, Sydney might be looking for cheap option to get them under the cap.

34 is a spring chicken when you have ADP in your squad. At that age he would have to take cheap if he wants to keep playing. Only other A-League option available would be Jurman I think.

With many overseas Clubs being linked with lil Judas - including some from the Bundesliga - I tip Borussia Dortmund to be in the running seat to snap him up.

With a multicultural team, including a few Aussies, and training facilities of this kind:

I can't see him going anywhere else

Glory just announced Nick Ward, Dean Heffernan, Evan Berger and Lewis Italiano are all released. No mention of Smeltz

They tried to get him back in the mid season transfer window. He was pretty good before heading to Brisbane. Their system just didn't suit him, and was made to look horrible.

Heart are getting rid of a lot of quality, I'm worried that they won't be able to find adequate replacements for all these players they have released.

He wasn't the complete donkey el grapadura said he was and had some very good games. But sounds as if he is leaving to go home, rather than not being offered a new contract.

Hmmmm considering they were poo, I would hardly call them quality. (Thompson aside)

Sydney need solid defence, and considering they just let Griffiths go, I wouldn't be surprised.

Fair call. I will define "quality"  as "quality compared to the rest of their squad" in this case.

Again, I think this says more about the level he played at than him as a player. This guy still bring brings hilarious laughter out of any Dinamo fan you mention his name to.

Yeah I realise that, wasn't trying to call you out about it. I was just expecting some massive lolz that never happened.

Miller will be fantastic at Roar.

Why would the Roar get Miller when they have Broich already?

Permalink Permalink

Broich to the wing and Miller central is what I'm guessing.

There has been talk of them looking to sign another striker. I think they will end up playing 4-4-2 and they are resigned to losing Nicholls now.

What makes you say 4-4-2

What makes you say 4-4-2

Talking to Roar fans, they say Mulvey is looking for another visa striker to help Berisha up front and shift to it. If you are going to bring in an import, you are not planning on him being a bench player.

Pity cause he should have got a lot more games for Roar. Top midfield player.

He was good - but a bit ineffectual - lots of pass and move - but nothing really decisive and woeful in front of goal

A lot better than anything we had in midfield.
