I may have posted this before so apologies if I have ....generally new brooms sweep clean and I guess its too early to tell what wholesale changes may be made but I reckon there will be some , whether its additional new faces or new faces to replace with others..probably a bit early to tell

Too close to the season starting for an entire sweep. We need new players, get results, bench the ones not up to form and sweep them at the end of the sesaon.

Although I do have sympathy regarding the financial situation, it would appear to be pretty fair to say that Ricki has no 'plan B'. The current squad at his disposal doesn't help but we've been playing the same way for 3 seasons in a row with a squad that has diminished in quality each year. We've been sussed out and teams know how to play against us.

Pretty hard to have a plan B when there are only 15 players to choose from (i.e. a starting XI and 4 subs).

A plan B is pretty difficult to devise with only 15 players available.

Obviously last night was awful (hence why you have popped up again after a bit of an absence), but if you don't think we played reasonably well against Newcastle, Perth and Melbourne we clearly are on a different wavelength. 'Reasonably' is good enough considering the off season we have had. Obvious deficiencies in the squad have had to have been left uncorrected, and that is clearly not Herbert's fault.

Agreed. However no Terry pissing about for 6 months in denial, no pre season of uncertainty, no skeleton squad.

All credit to him for what he DID. But for the way things went from the end of last season up until September, he does not deserve credit.

Hopefully in future seasons the new owners can restore us back to where Terry had got us previously.

Most Oz clubs had been training and playing 10 weeks out from season start. Unfortunate situation left us starting late and left to build if possible during the season. Riki needs an assistant as seen previosly they help with tactical changes during games. Blew.22011-11-05 20:47:43
