A couple of the flatties made it along to the uni rugby, opening of the stadium. Said there was two thousand or so people there, and that they made a hell of a noise.
Went to that game and the 7500 at the North otago game and the noice reverberating of the roof was incredible. And like most rugby crowds, it was hardly in good voice.

As an aside in terms of shop for fever tees Otago Sports Depot usually carries nix kit and is worth a crack.

Before anyone gets their hopes up that's the sh*t version of Wendy's not the one that everyone salivates for

Just had someone approach me having got an invite to the Fever Function via email from their club!

Also a little bit of interest in T-shirts from local punters.

Fire up!

So as is tradition in Dunedin, who's organising the nude football match as a curtain-raiser to the main game?

Logan Park is just across the road from the Longroom so should be a great event

I booked cheap flights on Air NZ just a couple of hours ago - $215 return from Wellington (go Friday, return Monday) on House Of Travel. They were actually even cheaper on Air NZ but I couldn't get the damn website to work properly at work!

Still, delighted to get the flights as when I checked yesterday they were $376!

Not likely to be ready before this weekend however.

Yes we will do some kids' sizes.  From memory we have 2,4, 6, 12, 14 boys or something similar to that, as well as S, M, L, XL, HN sizes.

Odds on this will be a very limited edition.

I'd like one of these t-shirts as well before going down there if poss...bit of a debate over whether I require large or XL - are they 'big made'?? Have a couple of older ones but not sure if they've changed.

Surely you'd be able to get the tickets changed on match day like at ROF?

Apparently there are 20 of them going so I can't imagine they'd all be up for it. And it was a group vote (presumably without much knowledge of fever zone etc) so I am pretty much stuffed!

My best hope is to persuade them to head up to the West end of the South stand nearest the zone and attempt to stand up there.

While I'd love to say otherwise I suspect that the West End of the South Stand will be pretty empty.

Boom - my expensive flights were fully flex, so have refunded those puppies and bought cheaper ones...$89 down and $230 back or so isn't too bad.  All the cheap return flights have gooooone on the Sunday.

In other Dunedin news, tee shirts will be available from OTAGO SPORTS DEPOT from early next week.  If you head in there now you can pre-order them...these will be a limited edition one off only.

Lion have also chipped in some free beers for us at the Longroom.  Thanks to Matty at Four Kings for making this happen.  I will be holding free beer vouchers in the Longroom for anyone who is dressed up, chanting a storm up, or otherwise providing good banter.

Andy at the Longroom is arranging for overflow in case we max out his capacity!  Get everyone there!!

Just put a good chunk of posters up round uni. More to go up early next week. Heard from a couple of clubs that ahmad's email flyers have gone out to most members. People are getting excited.

Not quite. Super shuttles is $30 and has to wait for passengers to get on and off.

Classic Jaguars do transfers (pre-booked) for $75 per car (up to 4).
