good example there of Burns and Roly contrast......Burns managed to go from backwards to forwards without doing a 360.

A small town in Europe........looking to bounce straight back up....well that aint going to happen

Why is he stopped play its not a head injury?

Permalink Permalink

Remember when people here said that Roly was far too good for the A-League and we couldn't hold on to him for long?

Do you know what Dewhurst is, boring?  Tedious, absolutely mind numbing. If you want to improve the sport's popularity in NZ that's where you start

Normo's coming home

Boxall has been good on defence. But in the final third his pass hits the city man every time

He's good 1on1, but he keeps drifting inside and leaving it way too open. Lia has covered it well.

hmmmmm....a yellow is not good for a reasonably combative midfielder.

Well, in the half-time break, come at me, bros. What do you call a team which somehow forgets how to play over a period of a few weeks, if not severely lacking something in the top two inches? Call it mental toughness, call it confidence, call it acceptance of mediocrity, the team has just stopped working, and it ain't Ernie's fault.

Because he's a useless ref. He's so inconsistent he's always going to give the impression of being on the take, because he rarely does the same thing in the same position and often gives 'pathfinding' decisions.

You can tell you aren't the first in line when Ben Williams is reffing your final.

I agree with all of those!

Much as I like Fenton I can't see the logic of playing him up there. He's not any kind of striker and has shown that already several times in the first half. Put Krishna or Kenny in there and they are doing exactly the same job but with a far higher chance of them scoring.

This red is driving me insane. The number of fouls against us is rediculous. Can't believe the FFA keep this circus going

play the early ball to Burns. 5 times we ignored the run , 4 of them we passed back. Wots Rolly doing?

11 fouls to 3 and we both have a yellow card each. How does that work?

Did they show a replay of the incident Roly got the card for? Because in keeping with what you are saying it smacked of the usual Ben Williams inconsistency. Mark my words we will cop a howler later on. Roly beware!

Roly definitely lacking the confidence. I think he works better when he has Krishna avaliable.

Don't think anyone disagrees with that? Except maybe 2ndBest.

To be honest i'm just happy we haven't conceeded early again.

How is that an indicator? Volume of fouls does not indicate severity of fouls.

I'm actually confused cause in Doloras' eyes, it's  Ernies fault every week but it's not this week. Uh.....

And how the hell did Chapman escape a yellow for blatantly tripping Manny as he arrowed into their penalty area? That is practically a mandatory card.

So you think those 3 fouls right outside their box weren't worthy of yellows?

Only mandatory card is taking your shirt off from what I can tell.

depends if they were severe enough for yellow cards which is totally different from the position you state that because one has made more fouls than the other, then they should have more cards.

If my team commits 1 foul all game and 1 foul is to smack someone out and it's a red card, should the opposition have more red cards cause they have more fouls?
