I think Elliott will start based on Ufuk saying earlier, if we never give the youth a chance, we'll never know.

Keen to see how Waine is developing.

The TAB seems moderately confident.

Was thinking the same.. without Fenton, Davilla and Sotirio and first real hit out, I think it won't be as easy as they think

Yeah. That would make a nice change.

May require us giving several more fuks than previous editions

I wonder if the gaffer held Davila back so that he would not find Brissie winter temperatures more to his liking than those in Welly.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

Beautiful, overcast, cool (22C) day here in Brisbane!

Should be around 18C at kick off.

Weather should suit us (apart from the lack of Wind & Rain!!!!)

We're the WELLINGTON Phoenix

And this is our Home

Excited for tonight. I'm assuming it'll be on SkyGo?

What are the odds of the match being shown on Youtube outside of Aus/NZ as it happens during the regular season?

0%. However if you have a VPN to get an Aussie IP, you can use a code to get MyFootball Live free for 3 months which shows all the FFA Cup games.

Link to code?

So I just did off my phone and it worked! Got until 11 November to stream games for free which is awesome!
Funny question, I set it all up on my phone as I’m at work.
How do I watch the game on my pc/telly tonight? Can you log-in to the site or do you need to download the app on your computer as well and then stream to the TV?

Thanks!

Sounds like its restricted to mobile screen sizes.

oh darn that's a bit shark. I guess it's nice to watch a game in bed, but when you go from 40 inches to a smartphone there's a big difference! Oh well, it's better than a kick in the nuts!

Andy Pengelly is feeling lucky.

Size isn't everything, that's what my wife says. But the size of our win tonight - on top of pizza night and hump day, well, that does matter.

3 - 0 the Nix and also my knockbacks.

PS - does anyone get their shirt off at home when we're up and 10 mins to go?

I've managed to setup the My Football Live app in BlueStacks to watch on the PC, and video buffers fine, so we'll see how we go tonight.

On a hump day, yes, obviously.

Considering our FFA Cup record, it would be an upset if we win.

I am not too fussed about the result.  The Strikers have a team that has some quality (at that level), but they also have a good understanding and home crowd support. In contrast we have a team of people who largely have not played together, with mostly skilled youngsters and some seasoned pros on the park. I expect we'll make some misguided passes and show a general lack of cohesion on our side, with lack of experience among some of the youngsters on the field. Hope we win! And hope to see some Nix shirts in the stands.

Will the MyFootball live app have the same coverage as Sky?

Isn't sky's coverage going to be the FFA one that jumps between games as they are played simultaneously?

(at least, that's what I remember from last year ...)

We are not the main TV game this time, so I doubt we will be getting the around the grounds cuts. It will probably look like it's being filmed on a potato but it's better than nothing.

Yeah I mentioned that yesterday.

Someone's either taking the mickey with the team sheet, or the link between those in goal for the Strikers and dead Aussie rock stars is plain eerie.
