Season tickets last year - (Women + Men) - Yellow Fever, 2 Adults, 1 High School Student - $710.

24/25 - $1050  (not inc the 10% early discount) - WOmen + Men, 2 Adults, 1 High School, YF.......

Essentially, Season tickets no longer include access to the A-League Womens ($99 per adult - $69 per high school student)

My ticket price has gone up by 24%, compared to last season. A hefty increase, yet, understandable.
However, this increased price no longer includes the women’s games.
A separate season ticket needs to be purchased for this, making the increase on my ticket (compared to last season) effectively rise to 57%.
Unfortunately, I won’t be buying a women’s season ticket.

I seem to recall they weren't available Day 1 last season either?

My season pass last year in the zone was $295. Which covered 20 games. 11 men and 9 women (3 x wellington, 6 x Porirua).

That equates to $14.75 per game.

This season it is $299 for the men and $90 for men. But there is a 10% discount. So that is $341 total.

So to make it roughly the same per game, we would need 23 home games.

That seems likely because:
1) Can't see 2 games going outside of Wellington. So should have 12/13 men's games
2) Shouldn't lose a women's home game to Sydney again.
3) Will have another women's home game against Macarthur (I think that is still the plan).

What is the difference between Adult Ticket ($290) and Adult Ticket + Club membership ($345, so an extra $55)? Is it explained somewhere?

I know, I know, its serious!

Season passes bought.  Fudge me they are expensive (I do buy 5 to be fair).

And woman's season passes bought.  Mildly annoying I couldn't get a woman's pass with the card without doing a second transaction but it is what it is.

So our angst is that the 10% discount wasn’t applied plus we have a gap of a seat in our group of six. Have left four messages with no one getting back to us.

Best you check the amount charged is correct before you hit pay

So did we but took a look at invoice and it didn’t add up plus discount wasn’t noted. If it was automatic then cost has gone up significantly since last year

Looking at last year we paid $266 and this got us tickets to both men’s and women’s. Plus I assume there was an early bird discount last year as well.

This year is $290 for men and $99 for women. Plus it appears$57 for transaction fee and $7 for delivery cost. There is nothing on the receipt about the 10% discount but if it is included then the season pass for men would be over $300.

All in all not a cheap season

Hope that all makes sense 😎

There's a promo code hidden in the email - "WeRiseAgain". Enter it when you're up to the payment stage. But I've found it only gives 10% off the renewal membership. I added on the women's membership but the discount doesn't get applied to that one which is disappointing!

Oh, just actually read the email.

"NZ Club and Aus Club memberships are no longer offered in light of the new Club Membership."

The Club Membership does give you 15% off buying tickets tho.

I went through the entire process of renewing and adding two new members.  I couldn't find any way to do that as a single transaction.  And at no stage was there any option I could find to apply the promo code for the 10% discount.

They have also added an automatic renewal.

I also didn't notice the way to add the promo code at first, but there is a 'add promo code' that you can click on the same page where it asks for your payment options - but again, it's not super obvious.

OK, thanks for that.  I've emailed the club so hopefully can sort it out.

Signed up without any problems (and saw the code). I did note the auto renew which could cause some fun and games next year, especially if people are buying for a group and there are changed numbers.
Some good points made about the number of games next season- no “home” games in Auckland and an expanded league should see more games at the ROF.

Pathetic. Not apathetic.

"NO Homes games in Auckland" is good, BUT it doesn't say they might not be going elsewhere. Napier and New Plymouth or Wanganui would be great road trips on the Fever Bus.

Dome on the Fever Podcast said that the Nix are investigating taking an annual game to Christchurch, it's likely the only non Auckland city that stacks up financially.

They also have a good relationship with Mainland Football, and obviously the new impressive Stadium opening there in early 2026 will be a destination attraction in itself for many sports fans (especially around the South Island).

Next season, we celebrate 17 years of Ticketek stress and ticketing foul-ups.

To help celebrate this achievement, we will endure to make it 18 seasons of ticketing foul-ups and stress.

Meant to put this in here last week but:

All Blacks last game in Wellington = 25,000 attendance

Phoenix last game in Wellington = 33,297 attendance

Phoenix are bigger than the All Blacks! 😜

If we can lift our average attendances that would go a long way to more prominence in the sporting landscape but it's still a sign of how much interest there can be in football.

I'd say though the Warriors are now bigger than the AB's in many ways. Don't get why, but seems to be the way it's going at least.

I'm glad AFC is on the map now, it'll massively boost football culture and lead to more exposure, raising the ALM's profile.

Anyone heard how season ticket sales are going? What is our hope for the ahead season? I’m hoping we our average attendance increases a bit after last years run!

Tempered somewhat by the turbulent job market down in Wellington, I just hope the numbers stay consistent.

Coming off a decent showing last season will hopefully get a few more punters through, but there is a few more factors at play this season that the club can't control.
