No - much preferred having a game in hand!

Sorry (I'm so pathetic to be obsessed with the table).

My word...it's worse than I thought...only one point better than the Knights' final schmozzle (after 21 rounds)...

This is especially depressing if you can remember back to the glories of our period in 07/08 with a 3 man defence including the likes of Old & O'Dor. Yet we have this season conceded more goals than that vintage? #shudder

must win all 4 home games,

Newcastle are our bunnies we should be able to grab the 3 points, Adelaide will be tough but we can beat them at home same with the Heart, Wanderers and Perth away will be tough - steal a point from those games and hope like hell we can get 3 against the victory.

10 points minimum!

Remember that nealy all those points came in the last month under 'Sack Ricki' after the FFA yanked the licence of the owners.

Been playing around with this. I got us finishing 6th, if we win our home games & top 4 always beat bottom 6 & home teams win when bottom 6 teams play each other. Yeah it's a stretch I know.

I tried that and did not like the result.

I can get us finishing 5th, we cannot lose games at all, have to win all home games and draw the away ones.

I would really like to think you are right, but as we have only won 5 out of 21 games, it would seem highly unlikely that  we will get 15 points out of a possible 18 in the remaining games.

Helps us much more than either of those teams picking up 3 points. You can't have both teams getting 0 points from a game.

I find the Roar result quite interesting in a useless statistical way. Other day, I worked out the results for teams the round after they played the Phoenix. eg Rnd 1 we played Sydney, so recorded Sydney's result Rnd 2 and so on.

After playing the Nix in the previous round, teams are Win 5 - Draw 5 - Loss 11. Exactly the same as we are. No clue what you can take from it, other than it's a totally useless stat.

So 6 teams should have to play out a third of the season, with nothing to play for? Top 6 isn't perfect but given no one outside the top 3 has ever made the Grand Final, it is acceptable to me because it keeps fans interested in their teams.

Looks like CCM and WSW have the top two spots all but wrapped up. Next weeks game between those two is going to be huge, could decide who gets the Toilet Lid.

I love how CCM have two stars on their shirts to represent their two minor premierships. I guess it softens the fact that they've lost three Grand Finals.

Even Tony P was 'commenting' on that early in the season. If we don't win the Toilet Seat, I really hope they do.

They have an astonishing +22 goal difference at home, 9 wins & 1 draw. I think that will make the difference next weekend against WSW. Must be something in those sauce bottles.

Side note on the Glory, that is their 9th 1-0 loss this season.

Fixed - nothing minor about them.
