Why are'nt there more draws?...especially for the teams above us. Makes it tough for us moving up the table. The Adelaide game is a cliche game for us......the ol' 6 pointer.

If you take into account the positive change to our gd and negitve change to their gd then they are really 13. And if Geronimo doesn't score I feel thats worth another point as well. Give it a roung 15 points then?

"We're gonna win the league!"

(so does that mean 3 or 5 points for a draw?)

Given all they have been through, surprising to see Bling where they are. They are either bad or just sneak through in pretty well all their games.

Wow we are currently sitting on 7 wins- 3 at home and 4 away!!

I'm not sure what our record is for away performances in a season, but could we end up finishing with better results from away games?? Crazy thinking.

Not only that, we need another 30 pts from 18 games to reach a target of 34 pts (which is the average pts required to make the play-offs in a 27 game season). The most pts we have ever got from the last 18 games is 31, the average is 25.[/quote]19 down, 11 to go!

Given the current log-jam in mid-table 34 points might not actually be enough for the play-offs. I think we need to aiming for at least another 12 pts from the last 7 games.

After 21 games...

07/08 - DLLWDWLLLLWLDDLWDWLLL - 20pts (21 games)

08/09 - DLLDLWDWLLWWWLDWLWLDL - 26pts (21 games)

09/10 - LWDLDDDDDDWLWDWLDLDWW - 28pts - WLLWWW - 40 pts (27 games)

10/11 - DWLLWDLWLDLLWLLWDLWLW - 25pts - DWLWLWWLW - 41 pts (30 games)

11/12 - DWLLLDDWLWWLWLWLWWWWL - 33pts - LWWDLL - 40 pts (27 games)

12/13 - WDDLLLWDWLLDWLLLLDWLL - 20pts - DLWLWL - 27 pts (27 games)

13/14 - LDDLDLDLLLWWWDWLWWLWL - 26pts

We are definitely stumbling right now but if we can replicate our record in the last 6 games (W3, L3) in the next 6 games then we should still make the play-offs with 35pts. It will be a close thing, however, and 38 pts would probably be safer. It is, as they say, squeaky bum time.

We also need a better finish than in either of our last two seasons. 2 wins and a draw (7pts) from 6 games probably won't cut it.

Perth at home and Jets away are winnable. Sydney away.....depends on which Sydney turns up, but you would think if we are on top of our game we could roll them. Heart away and Adelaide at home are tough tough games......maybe one point from the two games would be all we could expect. Then that just leaves Victory at home, at the seasons end. We could need a win in the last game to sneak in to the top 6.

Mind you all this assumes that Ernie can perform miracles on our injury racked side. If we don't beat Perth then it will be a tough uphill battle to make the top 6

We really need 4 wins out of our last 6. Glory, Jets, Sydney are winnable. Write off Heart & Adelaide, so leaves us a do or die game against the Victory at home in the final round.

They are missing a few rounds scores atm but easy enough to add in.
