Entertaining game, passing was great until it got anywhere new the box.

Fred was great, started off shaky but created alot towards the end. Would ave been great to see him and Daniel on together.Very entertaining game, loved it.

How about Kevin Muscat though, his head was purple and red. I thought he was going to explode.lol

Course you realise that it was a "stitch-up", a conspiracy. The A League needed the Nix to get the result........

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

BLOODY STUNNING! Thats why you support your team through thick and thin, not even the Bikini Clad bar chicks could distract me tonight (actually not sure if they even had bikinis on!) at the local tavern! A totally inspirational performance, and it's bloody fantastic to see yellow fever with the shirts off!

Phoenix till I die!

So YF guys with their shirts off > bikini clad chicks?

You're a worry

Yeah,he was going so well. Watching the Nix win, bikini-clad chicks and beer. Sounded ideal,  then he had to spoil it.........

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Was only 8k. An improvement but after this win hopefully the next crowd is even bigger.

Is the next game at home or Adelaide?

Probably pissed he isn't getting much game time which is fair enough. Once Fred goes I reckon he will slot in.

He doesn't work hard enough in defence when things go wrong in attack imo. That is why Fred is such a good player - he has great touches in attack but he actually tracks back really well too.

Looks like we've got some competition for Centre Back though. Which is a good thing to have.

McKain is a must... anyone know why he got yellow after Brown's goal?

No, but is it true that Smeltz got a yellow for his celebration - I was celebrating and missed it.
....Or was the Aussie ref dishing out cards for us scoring?

No, im sure the refree didnt know either

Bikini clad chicks on friday nights here on the Goldcoast are fairly commonplace, it's supposed to encourage more beer sales for the tradies after work, plus it was about 28c, so I guess they can wear bikinis (4.30 kick off here), but the beer flowed really well tonight! That is easily the best win we've had by a mile, and to do it in style was even better, great to see Muscat so frustrated at the end!

I Thought he was on our side at the end when we won the free kick with a minute to go. He held on to the ball then dropped it away from Daniel. Well played sir!

Pulled his shirt up over his head. Mandatory yellow card.

They might well do. Perth has a very decent attack - it's only their defence that lets them down. But Harnwell's back this weekend and he definitely gives the defence some backbone.

Doesn't look like Amaral will play much of a part though.

Great win.

Now onto the next game against Perth Glory. This is a long time waiting to wipe the simile off Perth who has got the best of us this season. Smash them next Friday for a 4th straight win and we are sitting mighty fair decent on the table.

BTW valeo, recokn Paston is YF's man of the match with those reflex saves? Either that or Smeltz with the Nix's goal of the season.

I'll second that Fink. It was a great atmosphere and  the Phoenix were lifted with the crowd support tonight.Fever Zone were in top voice.. a few good vocal leaders in there keeping the chants going almost continuously tonight. Brilliant!

Improving,,on the up, a work in progress from Italiano and the Nix. Bring on the bathroom bling in '24! COYN!
